A Great Course to Reacquaint Yourself with the Game
I stopped playing golf 10 years ago because of a freak accident while golfing in a charity tournament. I tore my MCL and tore the meniscus in my right knee to the point I needed a knee replacement. Admittedly I was afraid to try golfing again after that, but I retired a few years ago and live close to Fairwinds. My next door neighbor talked me into going to Fairwinds the first time last week. I enjoyed it so much we went again yesterday. The people in the pro shop were very friendly and professional. The course was in great condition and the greens were excellent. The water/ice machine on hole 14 was a wonderful touch. I highly recommend this golf course, between the helpful people and the excellent conditions of the course it just can’t get better.
The course has improved
Last time I played here was a couple of years ago. The course has improved!
Great fairways and greens, brandnew carts...
Unfortunately no cups for water. You have to bring your own cups. That is okay but if nobody tells you in advance it gets a little nasty playing 18 holes.
Why not allow players to bring their own drinks?

The course is in great shape and I liked the layout. Will play again.
Very solid county facility
Never really liked the layout......but the golf facility is very solid. Great staff.....always in good condition. Decent clubhouse and food. Sandridge in Vero Beach is a bit better, but you can't go wrong playing here. Very good practice facility too.

Good shape
Course was in good shape, even though the greens had been punched in the recent past they have healed up nicely and really no issues with putting. Pace of play was good on front 9 but slowed a little on the back but still had a 4 1/2 hr round
First time here
Had a very nice experience playing this course for the first time. The staff was very friendly. Course was in good shape. Will be back.
