Overbooked
When we asked about the 30 min delay in our start time, we were told they overbooked and it’ll be like that until April.
Once we started the pace as good but when your mid afternoon, half an hour determines whether or not you get your round completed before dusk.

Front 9 is an easy play layout, course conditions are good for this time of year.. greens roll on the slow side
Back nine has some weird holes that are difficult to navigate without GPS.. pace of play was just ok course was jammed

The course is an excellent condition great layout, but this is January in Florida. A foursome on every tee creates slower play.

Nice greens
Greens were smooth and fast, fairways etc. were all good. Course can be wet but it was only in a few areas. Layout is interesting and fun.

Decent value for the money
Unfortunately we played this course a couple of ay after 5 inches of rain . I’m certain it would have been nicer to have a bit more Florida roll as I am a high handicapper!

It Was Wet
First of all, there was so much rain the night before it was cart path only in the morning. By 11:30 there were no restrictions except # 18 so codos to the course drainage. Fairways were great and the greens rolled fairly fast and even though we got more rain I couldn't ask for better. 5 Stars. Great job Fairwinds!!
