Great course to hone up on your skills
My first time playing this course and it was truly a fun time. Not to tough to play without knowing the course. Also not too many penalty areas to worry about.
Amazing course
Beautiful day, great staff and the course was one of the nicest ones we have played in a long time
Slow pace slower greens
Overall a nice place to play a cheap round. 8am tee time SWARMS OF MOSQUITOS in the morning like I’ve never seen before!! The county should really consider doing coming about that. Staff isn’t very friendly, pace is extremely slow with tightly packed tee times. Greens are healthy and look great but terribly slow.
Great course
My expectations were not too high, but Fairwinds far exceeded any I might have had. Excellent condition all around, beginning with the putting green, and the manicuring around the cartpaths, Nice layout and greens excellent, but hard and firm. GREAT place especially for the money
Fairwinds
Good course too many players so pace of play was slow
A place to play
Been playing Fairwinds on and off since 2014. They have improved the course it is nice,lots of water on the back nine, but not impossible, for the weekend player. Played from the blues yesterday usually play from the whites. It was tuff but better for my game I’m told! We played with another couple and had a good time. They received new carts and a cart building last year. Nice! But the carts do not have range finders, so bring your own.
Hard to enjoy
The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, the layout is nice, and conditions are good. Unfortunately, the front line took three hours and five minutes to play, which will make it very hard to want to come back. We switched over and played the front again, which is the only way we got our 18 holes in before dark.
First Timer
Every single member of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The range and greens are in great condition and th overall layout and course is amazing and well maintained. Will be coming back
