Perfect Greens
Very straightforward fun golf layout with the best conditioned greens second to none anywhere.
Wide open
Great course to play for any range of golfer . Very nice greens and wide open fairways . The guy at the counter made sure to tell us we were free golfers ??? Bc the money went to golf now and not them for the hotdeal but oh well ! He seemed to have an attitude about it but other than that a really fun course to play .
Great Spring round
The course was in great shape and although it had been raining recently the course was not too wet and played great.
Good outing
Lovely day at Plantation course. The greens are the absolute best I’ve played in all of north Alabama. Kudos to the ground crew!

Great course !!! Had a blast today met some great people as well !!! Just down right fun and love the difficulty !!! Love a good challenge !
Excellent, storable greens
The course is in excellent condition. Best aspect of the course are its greens. Beautiful, clean, pure, fairly quick greens. They roll like a billiard table.
Best Staff Ever
1) There are two Goose Pond courses. I missed my tee time because I went to the wrong one...my mistake. The staff at Plantation covered for me and actually put me out ahead of a large group. Even the large group of golfers were extremely nice. 2) We all know course marshalls can have a stigma for being jerks. However, my man was one of the nicest people I've ever encountered on a golf course. 3) Even the maintenance guys (who usually look like they hate golfers) were really friendly even though I play fast and ended up with them on the back nine as they were finishing up daily grooming. As an outsider just traveling through, I was treated like an old friend, thank you Goose Pond staff.
