Good value
Always enjoy playing here. Course is in good shape. From tee box to greens, I have no complaints.
Very sub standard
I've been playing Willow for over 30 yrs and this is the worst condition I've ever seen ,the greens are in poor shape but not nearly as bad as the tee boxes. The pace of play goes unchecked Im quite sure they have no one that knows how to run a course,if rhey say they do they're lying. If this course is in this bad of shape this early I hate to see it in a month. It is a metro park so they should have the funds to run it right
Brown geeens
Why are the geeens so brown you literally have the huron river on rhe course watering should not be an issue Also no rangers speeding people up. Your a park with rangers come on man.
Slow round
Course needed Rangers to get people moving. Two some ahead of us fell way behind a threesome. We were very tired of waiting on them.
Good shape but pace of play was horrendous
Came here on a Saturday but 6 hours is just downright bad no matter what day of the week it is with hardly any attempts to get it going. Loved playing Willow growing up but I don’t think I’ll be coming back for a while. Weekdays aren’t bad just go early.
Terrible Pace of Play
Although the check in counter clearly stated to Tee Off on #10 to start. The staff still allowed people to tee off on #1 without directing them to the correct tee box. Which caused an hour back up at the turn. Which then made me have to cut my round short because on top of that, it took 3 hours to play 9 holes. The course had no Marshall to regulate pace of play and on a Saturday, that is unacceptable.
Willow Metro
The fairways and greens were ok. The sand traps were bad, no rakes in any bunkers. The on course toilets were locked, they did have few ports-potties.
The pace of play was slow, 5 hour round!
Always well maintained.
It’s a Metropark course so it’s always well maintained. Pace of play was good too.
