There's other courses in the area
Greens were the only good part of this course. There was an outing in the morning so the holes were pretty beat up from the flags. Fairways were beaten up pretty bad as well. Cart seat had duct tape on the driver's seat. Looked around and all the others were the exact same. My leg and pants were sticky. There were also kids ruining around the hole 8 fairway. Back where it goes thru the neighborhood.

Good afternoon Adam,
I would love to connect to discuss your experience further. I am sorry you had a poor experience at our facility. I was not aware of any issues from players yesterday, so I would love the opportunity to learn how we can improve for the future. Please email me at jleblanc@fellowscreekgolf.com to tell me more about your experience.
Downward Trend
I have loved playing this course over the last few years, probably a good 10 rounds hitting each of the 9 hole layouts they have multiple times. Not sure if they just can’t keep up with the volume of players, it’s still early in the year or if they just aren’t doing the work that is needed to keep the course in good shape.
Played in early April when part of the course were still flooded and that was better shape than how the course was on 5/12. North course has NO yardage/signage at every hole so if you don’t have a range finder or app (north not available on 18 birdies app either) you are just shooting to shoot. Many tee boxes (non par 3 holes) are already down to dirt or hard as a rock. Fairways have potholes larger than most Michigan roads. The cart bridges are patched together and just waiting to fall apart. Really hope they turn this around quick because they have a great set up but I can’t justify going back until things improve.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience at our facility. We did make a name change of the East course to the North course, which third-party apps have not caught up to just yet. The Fellows Creek app provides GPS and scoring (including a link to GHIN) for our courses, and any other app can be used if you use the East course until they update the naming. The old tee signs were removed to alleviate some confusion, but the new signs weren't installed immediately. The North holes do now have all of their tee signs in place, so this should alleviate some issues in the future. The fairways and tees have grown in nicely since receiving their first major fertilization as well. We look forward to the opportunity for you to give us another chance in the near future.
Great Pre-season round
The staff was gracious enough to allow me out on the course on my Golf Ebike. Had a great round, while observing the same rules as a golf cart would. Got some great exercise and hit several really good shots. I would definitively like to join the monthly players club membership program here. if you are interested in your own golf eBike reach out to me on Instagram @deezputts1 👍🏾😎
Treated extremely unfair!
The course clubhouse doesn’t have power and hasn’t for two days. So they’re operating on a screenshot of the bookings, from two days ago. I show the attendant (Dylan) my Golfnow receipt AND email confirmation and he says that I still have to pay because that may not be real. I then show him my bank account, with the charge made by fellows creek, for the round. He still says that it may not be real and I have to pay again, because Fellows Creek doesn’t charge until the round is confirmed. I then tell him I booked on Golfnow and was charged immediately. Dylan then hops on a laptop and tells me that my name isn’t popping up the computer. But I inform him that there’s no WiFi, because the power is out, so the computer shouldn’t work. He then laughs and says “You wouldn’t be on here anyway.” I suggest that he use a hotspot from his phone, and he may be able to populate a new list of tee times. He replies “I’m not wasting my data”, as he shuts the laptop closed. By this time, I’m angry and I sternly tell him that I’m not paying again. He slides a key across the table, for the cart and tells me to “Get out of here”.
After my round, I walk back inside of the clubhouse, in hopes of talking to a manager. I approach a heavyset gentlemen and ask if he’s a manager. He nods yes. I explain who I am and as I describe what happened with Dylan, I look up and he cuts me off and says “We’re all having a rough time. The power is out”. I explain to him that just because the power is out, doesn’t mean that you talk to customers/treat them like this. He smirks and says “Hey man, sorry”. I quickly realize that this is getting nowhere and I explain that I live 3 minutes from the course and I was hoping to find a resolution, as I’d be back often. He says nothing and I tell Dylan and him to have a great day.
Fellows Creek is extremely unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend the kindness of the STAFF to anyone.
Slow and backed up
Bought a twosome for this course thru golf now. Pre-paid for both rounds. My partner was stuck out of town so I called to get a rain check and they were not willing to accommodate. I went out figuring I would at least play 18 so that I only had to eat $50. Went to first tee on South. There were 4 groups there waiting to tee off. Tees off 40 minutes after my time. Played 7 holes and it was already on pace to be a 6 plus hour round. At that point I left. Golf course was alright but nothing amazing. I would equate it to Hudson Mills MetroPark. Way better courses for the money. Will not be back

Good afternoon, I'm sorry to hear your experience was anything less than exceptional when you visited us recently. I apologize for how your situation was handled by our shop staff. Please reach out to me with your tee time information, so I can get that raincheck squared away for you. This feedback also gives me a good chance to provide a training refresher for our staff regarding how we handle prepaid rounds that can't make it out to play. My email address is jleblanc@fellowscreekgolf.com.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you had a less than ideal experience at our facility. The course had received about 3 inches of rain over the previous three days as well as some tree damage, and had no power for that time as well. We strive to be the best we can even when those type of situations arise, and I am sorry we weren't able to meet that level. I do hope to see you out again to give us another chance.
