The 2nd green on the Dunes Nine. This is a medium length par three over a creek with a green that slopes back to front. There is also a pond that guards most of the left side of this green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

My approach shot on the 7th hole on the Bluffs Nine. Despite it being above my feet about three inches and in 38 degree weather, I hit this absolutely perfect. 5 yard draw and stopped on a dime from 181 out. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Pristine course with lots of challenges, never gets old no matter how many times you play it, the condition of the course is pga tour quality in my opinion.

Great value for such a good course
There are 3 nines and they are all good layouts. The rangers are friendly and they don't just ride around, they actually keep slow groups moving. Great pace of play even on the weekends. The greens are tough and fast. Got to play here.

A Fun But Relatively Slow Round
This is a very fun golf course to play. It is on a beautiful piece of property with elevation changes, water, trees and sand traps. We did encounter a relatively slow foursome 2 groups ahead of us which transformed an otherwise delightful golf experience into an endurance test.

very very well designed course and well maintained cant wait to play here again. A bit expensive but it is well worth it

Bad ground keeping
On the last 4 holes we had to exit for a guy to move the hole on the green
This should have been done before a busy day
We had a foursome behind us complaining to us and hitting up on us a couple of times . Last time I played there was a little issue so I'm not sure if I will go back

Fun layout, challenging greens
The course was offered excellent scenic views throughout. The greens were deceptive from the tee box with regards to how they were shaped and how big they were. But the greens were pretty consistent speed-wise and rolled true. I found them to be pretty fast compared to most courses around Detroit. All in all, it was a good round that is well managed. The starter said that they had some people go off on the wrong course and we still didn’t encounter backups. I would definitely play here again.

Great time
Played this course early in the morning and it was great. Not much of a wait with the groups in front of us. For the most part the course was in great shape. Nice, fair course with fun holes to play. Looking forward to playing it again.

Fun course
Lots of different terrains and some interesting cast paths to cross under roads.

Nice Course but understaffed
Upon arrival at the course we found no one at the bag drop but just assumed it was part of the Covid situation. But then I went into the pro shop and found the cashier with his mask down around his neck not covering either his mouth or nose. Then we went to where the carts were staged to be taken. Found that most of them still had trnash left in the cart and/or attached coolers.
Starter was very friendly, and we moved on to the first tee. The course was in great shape with an outstanding layout. We played the first 8 holes and then attempted to call the grill to place our order for food at the turn (as the sign in the cart requested) . Unfortunately, after having the call go to voicemail twice we just gave up. Upon arrival at the grill to pick up something quick and go we found on person working the bar and someone training someone new in the kitchen. There were already three people waiting so we just left.

Peaks
My fist time playing the Peaks portion of the course. Some nice challenges. Just enough water to keep it interesting and not frustrating. Greens, fairways and rough were well maintained.

Better than Average Value
It was a nice Sunday afternoon round. Some young famnilies slowed it down a bit. Course in very good condition except for the first par 3, which had too many goose droppings on the green to make it put worthy.
Overall, very good value for what I paid. Just be mindful that young families from the surrounding homes maybe out late on a weekend day that will cut your round short.
