Golfer Reviews
3+ Hours for 9 Holes: Course Standards Have Dropped
Having played this course regularly over the years, Saturday’s round was extremely disappointing. The pace of play was horrendous—it took us 3 hours and 20 minutes just to finish 9 holes, at which point we gave up and walked off. To make matters worse, course conditions have noticeably declined, with the tee boxes in particularly terrible shape. I love this course, but until pace and maintenance improve, I won't be back.
Very nice course but…….
First time playing here, the course was very nice, but when arrived was placed with other person. Which was fine I was single, but person behind us was a single and played up on us the whole back nine holes. Also when we asked if they wanted to play through he decided. I could see if we were slow and holding them up but we were not. We were waiting on the group in front of us to play. Also no rangers on the course at all.
Pace of Play - F
We had to leave after three holes - which took one and a half hours to play. If their leagues are so backed up, they should not be booking anyone after leagues at all. They act like they have no control over how backed up they been because the leagues are drinking and goofing off. Ok that’s fine! Then don’t take our money and book us after a league. It doesn’t seem right to knowingly take our money and then shrug your shoulders when it’s a four hour round for 9 holes.
Course is gorgeous - but we can’t go there anymore.
Greens are a joke
Course is in good shape but many of the greens are virtually unplayable. Greens can be sloped but these are domed! We paid a discounted green fee and very glad. Will not return.
Worth a drive
Secluded course. The holes are separated by the most part with trees. Requires accuracy off the tee as it is tree lined. The greens are sloped and are challenging it you get above the hole. I will be back as our group all enjoyed the layout.
Great course for the value
Play was a little slow but it was a holiday, Course is in great condition and for the price you can’t beat it $49 normal rates! I will definitely come back and play this challenging course.
First Time Playing The Course
Played the back nine with my brother, wished we could have played a full 18 but it was a league going on, other than that had a great time playing the course and the staff was friendly as well
Rude Workers Inside Pro Shop
Overall we had a very good time during our outing. The pace of play was definitely slow, took over 5 hours for 18 with alot of waiting for people to shoot. The marshall and lady working the bar were both very friendly. But one of the girls in the pro shop were very rude. We booked via golf now and unfortunately we had a last minute cancelation. I went into the pro shop just to ask what they could do if anything and she snapped at me telling me "its golf now problem take it up with them". I was just asking a simple question about the possibility of a rain check and her explanation was very rude. Then I had go back in cause someone parked behind my numbered cart so I couldn't get it out. The same girl seemed very annoyed that I was asking to switch carts when I literally had no choice cause I couldn't get mine out. Overall, very pleasant experience besides the slow pace and the rude girl in the pro shop.
Its okay as a last resort
They are trying. This is very much a mom and pop operation. The greens are generally really good and the layout is challenging especially from the tips. Without trying to sound like a jerk...this is the type of course that attracts a certain type of clientele. Loud music, lots of drinking, no etiquette or knowledge of how to act, where to drive carts, when to hit. The "starter" that drives around sometimes just...drives around and doesn't really even know anything about golf and wears a tee shirt and sweat pants so....there you go.
Course is interesting but fair. A few blind approaches that could be dangerous if you go up the hills to see if the group ahead is clear. But overall its fine. Pace of play is...meh.
Its fine for a last minute booking if you can't get on anywhere else or if you've already exceeded your golf budget for the week.
Oh, they have a range which is a huge bonus though. They are definitely trying to keep this place decent. Too bad the customers are actively fighting it.
Busy on Memorial Day-Slow but nice weather
Course is in pretty good shape. Fairways and rough are cut low, which helps with finding your ball. Greens are pretty clean and in good shape. Pin placements were brutal, and these greens are very hilly and crowned, which is a significant challenge. Nice scenery and fairly open, especially on the front. Handful of pretty long holes from white tees.( Par 4s 400+, 5s 500+).Overall good value and nice course. We'll be back.
Mulberry May 2026
This is a wonderful challenging course. I can only recommend this course for all level of players. Well maintained. The staff and Ranger know what they are doing. I always have a great time at this course.
Needs a little work
Needs a little work but over all it was a good value and not a bad track. Greens are very very tough as petty much all of them are mounded but we’re in good shape overall a very fun course
Mulberry Hills Golf in Attica, Michigan
Hidden gem. Fun to play. Very serene feel on the course, gives that "up north" feel. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Clubhouse is good but honestly not great. Typically the course is in really good shape. Carts and facility are clean and well maintained. Great value on a very solid course. Not a bank breaker in terms of difficulty but it's long and requires some course management to score well. Definitely worth a visit. Probably our favorite in the area for my wife and I to play together.
