Disappointed
Course is undergoing a new clubhouse build. That being said the course is in awful shape. Tee boxes are unplayable. Fairways have many different grasses and weeds. A lot of hard pan lies. A lot of greens are diseased. Cart paths are in disrepair and dangerous on the steep hills and tight turns. Played course many many times so very disappointed. Paid $70 each. Could’ve played many other high end courses for that price. Don’t waste your money.
$70 way too much
We understand the task of building out the clubhouse ihas consumed a lot of time energy and money. That being said the course conditions are atrocious. Tee boxes are unplayable. Some fairways have multiple grasses and weeds growing in different directions. Rough was very inconsistent with cutting. A lot of hard pan lies. Greens are diseased. Cart paths on the hills had large uneven holes at the bottom. Very dangerous conditions for driving carts. Husband and wife playing so $140 out the window. Could have played many other places. Disappointed.
Getting their clubhouse but not taking care of the course
Fairways flattened by carts and grass needs to be planted. Tee boxes in bad shape. Nice layout but needs investment…..alot…
Disappointed
Normally play Copper Hills 2-3 times a year and was looking to playing there on 8/24/2025. Love the up north feel of the course and the challenge it offers. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the condition of the course (Jungle/Hill) on 8/24/2025. Most Tee boxes were quite barren and did not appear to be taken care of. Even some of the fairways were in poor condition- spots with little grass - which is uncharacteristic of how the condition of the course has been in the past. Some greens did not appear to have been mowed that day. Several tee boxes had several beer cans just lying on the ground as there were no trash cans available. It was difficult to see this and took away from the beauty of the course. On tee boxes that did have trash bins, many were filled to the top. They are putting in a new clubhouse & should be very nice when completed. But much TLC needs to be put into taking care of the condition of the course. Definitely not worth the $70+ paid to play.
Challenging and hilly course
Club house is under major construction but the course is excellent. Some tee boxes were con bad shape but the greens & fairways were top notch.
Not worth the money
All of the fairways were in terrible shape. Cut down way too short with dirt patches all over the place. Greens were very inconsistent. Some were much faster than others. Tee boxes were a nightmare. Absolutely ripped to shreds and if they werent completely ripped up the grass was terrible. Do not waste your money here. Outside of some cool hole layouts this course has nothing good going on.
Get a new Greens keeper!
The Jungle course looked like it was abandoned. The grass was uncut and so long, there were seeds at the tip of the blades of grass. The fescue 1 foot in front of one of the tee boxes was 4 feet tall and there was no club that could hit over it. The grass on all of the tee boxes covered the face of a driver. The Hill course was better but only compared to the Jungle course but the ranger said it was last cut 1 week ago. Unacceptable! There are better maintained courses way cheaper than what I paid. The course has great potential and was beautiful but MAJOR work needs to be done.
Really cool layout
Had three separate 9 hole course where you could mix and match for your 18. Staff was awesome. They are rebuilding the club house so it’s gonna be really sweet when everything is done.
Beautiful grounds!
Great, challenging course. Carts are fairly new. The course reminds me of Garland. Very picturesque! Can’t wait to see the new clubhouse next year!
