Always a fun course
Golfing in November in Michigan! Moss is always a treat to play. Well manicured, nice greens, plenty of challenges.
Excellent
Very player friendly course, variety of shots. Doing upgrades for 2016.
Nice simple course
I really liked playing in the apple trees. Beautiful setting. Greens were in great shape but the bunkers were hard and wet. No houses and nice open course, fair amount of golfers from other holes in your fairway. I do wish staff would instruct slower (inexperienced) golfers to let others through.
A great bargain !!
Great Place Awesome Staff
It's my first year playing at Moss @ Have been very happy, the staff is awesome, Friendly & care that you chose their course, took my grandson with me few weeks ago & they made him feel welcome. not sure how challenging it is compared to other courses but worth going for the aptmoshere.
Extremely friendly staff.
First time on this course and we were not disappointed. The two young gentlemen manning the desk were very helpful in "hints" about the course. The course was very well maintained. The water hazard ate two of my balls but that was just me and my bad golfing skills. We will go back.
no ranger
six players off #1,. staff allowed it,. are you kidding? not impressed,. very slow play,.
Great
Great course every time we played it. Great price for course and food and drink.
Moss Ridge
Very nice course for the price. The course is in great shape. Lots of hills make it quite challenging.
Bad service
Although my reservation was to include a beverage and food, I was told by the pro shop staff that "the deal was over. we are a for profit course!" Very rude - especially when I could show the reservation on my phone and what it included. Not a huge deal until we ordered 3 bloody Mary's at the turn and watched them made with no vodka!? Had to tell the guy to add vodka, which wasn't much because "I'm sure it's in the mix already!" Right...profit from charging for alcohol and making non alcoholic drinks.
golfing vacation
Great course if you ever go to muskegon you must play it.
Nice course/great staff
Fine course. well conditioned, staff very friendly/helpful. Open entry to greens (helpful to our wives). Moderately challenging.
great value
I really like this course. The staff is friendly and very courteous. 2nd to NONE! Challenging course but not too difficult. They need to learn not to send new arrivals out on the back 9 when players are making the turn.
hackerville
Tank tops, bare feet and really slow play. Played 3 times and left twice after 9 holes and nearly 3 hours. Never saw a ranger. Bunkers are hard clay and dirt not sand. No one knows how to play ready golf anymore. I like the layout but not worth the constant waiting on every shot.
Worth playing
Course in good shape. Staff friendly. Played as twosome and moved right along. Will play this course again

Best to go on a not so windy day. Cousre is easy flowing and requires a few well placed tee shots.
Getting better
New owners have very much improved overall course conditions. More manicured. Better look. Good promotions.
great course
the wather as bbaadd-the golf was good -the time was great--well b back
Great features, many hills
Overall nice course. This course had many hills, it was sometimes difficult to determine where your ball was as the hills obstructed your view. Our tee time was 6:30 which made the sun directly in our eyes so that contributed. As a beginner this course was very challenging.
Dead
The course was in good shape other then a few greens. The worst part of our trip was the battery life on our cart. We ran out of juice on the 16th hole and pushed are cart to the 17th. Once at the 17th we walked to the club house where the young man told me it's my fault that I didn't have a cell phone to call. That's shouldn't be how it is, they should check the carts before they go out I paid for 18 and a cart not 18 and a dead cart. Over all the course is nice the leadership and team members running the course need to learn guest service.
