Moss Ridge
The course itself was good but, the directions to the holes could be better for first timers. The map was not very helpful. The group of golfers behind us were rude. Taking their tee shots before we ever made our second shots. Almost hitting us. There were only two of us and twelve of them. As we were headed back to the club house a guy stops his cart and gets out and urinated. We are female. Not offended but he could have went to the club house or one of the port a johns that are supplied. We played the front nine. Nice mixture of average, difficult, and easy holes. Made it fun and interesting. The greens were a little hard but not bad. We will be back to play the whole course.
Fast Pace
Fast pace course play about 6,000 yards from the white tee's. This course can be challenging if you play from the tips it ends up being nearly 7,000 yards. The condition is good for the price. The 9th and 18th greens are connected which makes for a pretty fun approach to end each 9. It's a rather open course but it has some trees and hazards to challenge the average player.
Nice course for the money
The course overall was in good condition. Absolutely loved the greens. Really nice clubhouse, bar and restaurant. Staff was very friendly.
Course is great
2nd time playing the course this year, and even more impressed on how well maintained the course is. Played in the late afternoon and my playing partner and I were still able to finish our round in under 4 hours. Definitely will be playing there a few more times this year.

Great condition
The course is in excellent shape. Greens were perfect. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Nice Course, Lots of sand traps
Lots of bunkers, well maintained greens, some of the fairways needs work. Will play there again
Newbie Abhorant
Mgt knew that we were bringing 3 newbies and acknowledged our getting these young men involved early. We played best ball to speed the play but still, with 3 newbies, we were slow. No tee times were booked for a few times after we started. On the 3rd tee, we were caught up and had all ready discussed and agreed to let anyone who caught up to play through. Mgt rolled up and chewed on us for playing so slowly, telling us we'd have to let others play through. When we explained again that we had newbies, this time we were told that we probably should not have played on this particular course. We acknowledged that we'd let others play through and were told that there were 22 tee times behind us and that they had to run the golf course.
We skipped the next hole and caught up with the group teeing off just before us; forcing us to wait for about 10 minutes as they were waiting on the group before them. Guess we weren't that slow after all.
Slow and very frustrating
Decent fairways and greens. Very hard not sand bunkers. Nice clubhouse and banquet facilities.
What a hack fest out here. 36 mins first hole,5.5 hour round. Miserable pace of play and i wont go back or reccomend
Great course just needs...
I would've marked the course 5 stars for everything but there were a couple things they need to work on, first is a beverage cart, it was Sunday mid day with a temp of 80+ and not one beverage cart on the course. And next are the bunkers, I know your not suppose to be in them but they also shouldn't be a clay baseball infield either. A good thing is You always get a good lie and if you have a "pick it clean bunker style" then these are right up your alley. But besides those small issues the course is in great shape, and the greens were perfect. It's still a great course to play. One last thing, I like how the back is the front and front is the back now, I'm not sure why they made the change but I like it. I'll be back again this year for sure.
Aaron S
Jim the head pro and course superintendent is a great guy who cares about his course and the golfers who play it. He is always more than accommodating and usually asks for feedback to help improve the course and golfing experience. The course has five sets of tees which makes it as easy or difficult as you would like. It's usually one of the first courses to open and last to close in Michigan and is always in great shape!
Best kept secret in western Michgan
Excellent bent greens and fairways. Nice layout.
The staff does their best to make sure you enjoy yourself ! Very nice clubhouse and deck to have refreshments after a round.
Best kept secret of western Michgan
Excellent greens, and fairways. Four sets of tees make it fun no matter your level of play. The staff is awesome and wants to make sure you enjoy you planning experience.
Best course for the money. Period...
Always a fun course
Golfing in November in Michigan! Moss is always a treat to play. Well manicured, nice greens, plenty of challenges.
