Horrible pace
Can’t emphasize how bad pace of play is here. I play here very often and get around well and really like the course. But the pace is constantly bad and no one seems to care ever.
Poor Tee Time Management
It’s a great course. But today it was VERY slow play due to poor tee time management. I despise these courses that think they can book tee times 8 minutes apart and expect all players to keep pace. Enough of it people! At a minimum you have to have 10 minutes between tee times. Not only that you must have a GOOD starter to keep everyone on time. The slow pace of play unfortunately will keep me away from this course in the future which is a huge shame.
Fast greens slow pace
Good condition.. Very popular golf course.. Full of people.. Slower than average play pace but good time.
Great course
a incredible beautiful course has a lot of myrtle beach feel. Fast green and big fairways course was in incredible shape. Cart paths need work lots of pot hole just like Michigan roads. Starter was kinda of attitude like but only had to talk to him for a minute. Get out and play this course
Great value
For those that play in SE Michigan, this course compares with Stonebridge (Saline) and Pheasant Run (Canton). This has much better value as rounds are $20 cheaper (for the day I was playing). Course in good shape, fun to play, and if you like airplanes you will see a ton departing or flying in to DTW. Go play it!
Once a wk glf
I booked 11:52 tee time thru golf now.the course had no record of booking..everyone was very accomodating ; However at this point you know ur squeezed in..got stuck behind a foursome that severly impeeded the pace. It took 5 hrs to play 16 holes..we left without finishing..
Good value
Good value for your money a challenge from the tips. Only downfall was pace of play on back nine was slow and people not repairing their ball marks witch is so easy to do.
Staff friendly and pleasant I would recommend this course and expect to play it again.
Absolute gem of a course!
An excellent course for both the condition and value. The course is in excellent shape: nicely cut fairways and decent greens. Very challenging from the black tees due to significant length difference. I can't believe this course wasn't in my radar for all these years! Highly recommend and will be coming back again in the near future.
I love this course!
When the rain was beating us up this course was in great shape, well taken care of, challenging beautiful course. I play this course 3 or more times a month.
Nice course but slow
Layout of the course makes the front nine ridiculously slow. Pace picked up though on the back nine and the course was in great condition.
Excellent Condition!
Was very surprised at how nice this course was. Greens and fairways were in great condition especially with how wet it was. Most courses were walking only and you could tell this course drained really well. I’ll definitely be back to play 18 next time.

This course was well maintained but due to the weather it was very wet.
first time here
The weather was pretty hot that day. The course is well-maintained, nice wide fairways for a person with a handicap under 14. The greens are easy to read and in excellent condiction. everyone their was pleasant and hospitable and the cost is reasonable. I look forward to playing it again.
