Sanctuary Lake Golf Course

Second time I tried this course, same result. Upon arrival it took 10 minutes just to get a cart for me. I heard people coming off the course complaining about the pace of play but I was teeing off in the afternoon and ght it would be better. Big mistake. There were 4 groups waiting at the tee on #4 and it was slow the rest of the way. Quit after 9 holes as it was looking like close to a 6 hour round. No sign of a ranger or anyone trying to do something about pace of place. Practice range was gutted...very hard to find any grass to hit from. I just cannot recommend this course and will not return.

This course has nice elevation and challenging layout. Close to home.

Everything is fine at the course except the cart paths really need a lot of work.

I go here once a week. Played about 20 times this year. Pretty good for a Municipal course, but gets a lot of play so green are a bit tore up. Need to put some big signs up that say "Fix Your Divots" overall good and friendly staff.

The greens were just aerated so putting was difficult.

Also there are some strange hole setups where it's hard to figure out how to get from one hole to the next.

Course is very nice for the price. Pace of play was a bit slower than expected for a Friday morning, but not unbearable. Overall, we will return again for sure.

This was my second time playing here and I liked it more than my first time. Layout is different with lots of elevation changes. Only issue I have are the greens.They are kind of hard and need some age on them to be more receptive. Also there isn't a level putt on the course. So putting is pretty tough.

The course fun to play when it's not too busy. Got stuck behind a group that too almost 30 minutes to play the 11th hole ( par 5) and almost 20 minutes to play # 12 ( par 3). Other than that I like the course.

Greens were poor overall. Some group ahead of us leaving craters and not repairing anything. Ball marks everywhere. Fairways overall in good shape. Tee boxes fair. Driving range was in terrible shape.

Is built on an old landfill. Has some well designed holes but let down by a few so-so holes. Parts are a little beat up. Greens were a bit scuffed up which is a shame as they are challenging and well designed. For the rate I got ($24 hot deal), was still pretty good value.

Wide open Links style course. Enjoyed the round and the price was well worth it. Took my 77 year old father out and he enjoyed as well. Surprised at the condition of the course...felt it played fair and rewarded good shots. Greens were a bit bumpy on some holes but overall a good experience.
