About
Westchester Golf Course is known for its playability, which is further enhanced by five sets of tees that accommodate all skill levels. There are six lakes throughout the course and numerous waste areas filled with wildflowers and native grasses but sand is a more prominent element of the design. There are more than 75 bunkers treacherously lurking beside the greens and fairways. Golfers who manage to avoid the bunkers will find that a good score can definitely be attained thanks to generously sized fairways and only mild undulation in the greens. Although it is seemingly difficult, the layout is more approachable than it looks although it does require straight, accurate shots and a bit of strategy. In addition to the course, Westchester G.C. also offers an expansive practice range and putting green.

Too many singles/doubles
Seems like every time we bring a foursome we have to let thru a bunch of singles and doubles. They need to combine some of these groups.
About half the bunkers were under repair.
This course is fun to play.
The tees, fairways, and greens were in good condition. The sand traps need more sand in them.
Excellent conditions
Never played here before but I guarantee I'll be back! Fastest greens I've ever played, also the most beautiful conditions I've played this year and this was my 10th time

Great day at Westchester
Easter Sunday was beautiful at Westchester. Sunshine, course was in great shape for April, and the staff were excellent
Nice course. In good condition for early spring
Nice course. Very friendly staff. Course in good condition for early spring. Good pace of play.
Nice layout
Bunkers need attention, high grass just off the fairway is terrible for pace of play. Love the course layout but the course is not in the shape it used to be
Very good for early in the year
The golf course was in excellent shape for this time of the year considering the winter we just had. The greens rolled good and the fairways were good. They did have some cart issues, but the staff worked very hard to overcome the issues.
Not enough carts
My playing partners and I really enjoy Westchester but this time we had a bad experience. They ran out of carts due to some problem with vendor or something about getting parts to fix existing carts. Two young 16-22 yr. olds were working and they were not real forthcoming with a good explanation. Several groups had to wait about 30 m ins. before a cart came off of the 18th green Multiple carts were "dead" on the course and the carts we had were very slow due to overuse that day. Usually a very good course but you might want to call ahead before booking to see if they are still having this problem.
Westchester Golf Course
Conditions ok for time of year. Difficulty finding yard markers as the 150 yd markers not yet installed probably due to weather. Not very players at this time of year.
Not bad after the worst Ohio winter in decades
The course was as expected after a harsh winter.
A couple of holes had a lot of flood waste on them including logs, etc. I suppose the greens staff was not up to speed yet this year. However it was an enjoyable round for this time of year.

Considering the season & the first day being open we found the course survived a difficult winter very well
A Great Links Course
Just make sure you keep your drive in the fairway... you will lose balls in the high weeds. Other than that this course is awesome. Not a lot of greens with big breaks, easy to read. If you hit 'em straight, you will score well.

This course is wide open and okay to play
This was a pretty nice course. The staff was kind and I appreciated the lengthy 18th hole. I would play here again.

beautiful course and friendly staff...nice flat course with a lot of distance between greens and the next holes tee box....really spread out...beautiful land scaping
What I like about this course is that it makes you have to use your entire array of shot.
I booked a tee times on very short noticed. Once I arrived I received a friendly welcome. I golf at this course several times during the golf season and the staff is always friendly and the course is always in great condition.
I would recommend this course to friends and anyone looking to play a new course that is kept in great condition .
Due to the nice weather this late in the year, it would have been nice to have a starter as the course was very crowded.
Course was great but could have used a starter. I like playing at this course.
Good course
Tougher undulating greens. Won't be doing anymore reviews if I have to write a novel when doing so.
Worth the drive!!
Course is well maintained.Only downfall was a girls dist tournament that was suppose to end at noon..Didn't happen.
