Westchester Golf Course

Good course for the money. Cannot walk it easily especially back nine. Tends to play slow. Good condition

Not a bad deal on golf now but much better value just a few miles down the road at homestead. I like the layout of the course but the greens just do not roll true. I looked at some of the other reviews saying there were brown spots on the greens but I didn't see any. Wouldn't wait to play here again without some improvements to the greens and bunkers with standing water in them.

Nice course with a lot of housing on front. Tee boxes were weedy. The group behind us was impatient but we were waiting most holes ourselves. Traps were decent with the exception of other golfers not knowing how to use the rakes that were plentiful. Will go again when a deal can be found. Full price not so. Overall we enjoyed our round.

I think this course is top 3 in terms of value in all of Columbus area.

I rated it as easy for the sole fact that the rough is not thick. Im a short hitter and can make it within the 150 marker on most of the par 4's. It is also fairly open, but the course has texture to it.

For the money, I frequently choose this course over most other options.

The course is well kept, the greens are slow. the rough is somewhat narrow, then you have a field. if you hook or slice this is a challenging course.

Although this course is highly maintained, I sort of expected more. There's basically no rough, so missing the greens isn't penalizing. Lots of tall fescue to hide your ball on extremely errant shots.

The greens are true but hairy. Luckily the locals are nice enough to fix the majority of their ball marks. Just about every hole is straight ahead. Driver off the tee on just about every hole. No shot shaping necessary (except maybe the 18th if you're long enough).

It's still a course that plays better than most, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. I don't know if I'd ever pay more than forty to play here though.

The strangest part of this course is that the clubhouse is a mobile home lol. Classy.

The course is in great shape with outstanding greens. Sand traps remain an opportunity.

I thought the layout of the course was good and would be a moderately tough course on its own. However my group was dissapointed at the dryness on the course. At least a third of the greens had brown spots and almost everywhere the rough was cut so short it was barely noticeable to be ruff. Fairways were not bad but the sand traps were dry and looked like they hadn't got new sand in three or four years. The course was suprisingly very dry for the end of May following a cooler and wetter spring than usual. Worries me how browned out and dry it will be after the months of June and July. I do not recommend this course.

The conditions of this course were horrible. It was like golfing on a construction site. I was pretty much hitting the ball of dirt every shot. Their bunkers had no sand in them either, they were solid ground with a light dust in them. This course was very challenging (imo), and I liked the design. It just needs some grass asap! Would definitely not play here until they made some serious improvements.

Course requires playing many different types of shots--draws, cuts, knock-downs etc. That is fun. Bunkers could use some attention. In an unrelated matter; the mens room in the clubhouse doesn't look like it's been cleaned for a very long time.

Was told that this was a really nice course. The layout is o.k., but the course is not in good condition. Several greens have areas that are brown. The fairways are not in good condition and also have spots that are burned out or they have crab grass. The people that have played here have not fixed their ball marks on the greens either. I was repairing the marks on most of the greens. The "clubhouse" is a laughable. It is a trailer. This is the fourth course I've tried this year, and it was in the worst shape of the four. Doubt I'll be back.

Really wide fairways but really tall second cut. Very well maintained.

We played behind a large outing so play was a bit slow but acceptable. I like this course, challenging but fair and interesting design. Plenty of water and strategically placed bunkers makes for a great time.

Nice track in very good condition. The greens were in excellent condition with a very true roll. Our twosome played through 2 foursomes and we finished in a little over three hours. Excellent value.

This course isn't in good condition. Even around the greens it is very patchy, notthing more awesome then chipping out of a divot just off the green! Fairways a very patchy and hard to tell the difference between the rough and the fairway. The only positive thing about this course is that the green were in pretty good shape other then unrepaired divots from hackers!

Course was in real nice condition. Price was right, especially the food service pricing. Play was slow and no ranger out. Also had to wait about 20 minutes for a cart to be available. All in all still a nice golfing experience.

Yesterday was the 12th time I've played westchester and the back 9 took almost 3 hours because of the 4some in front of us. They played very very VERY slow and not once offered us to skip ahead. Other than that I love this course. Deff worth the money that golfnow has.

Moderate front 9 with a difficult back 9. Greens are fast and smooth

Beautiful course, played there 3 times now and from the tips the course is challenging but fair ! We hit the last day for winter rates at $25, a fantastic Golfnow.com price !! Will go back may times as long as the standards are, as is !
