Westchester Golf Course

Golfed here several times. Course is always in good shape. Today the course was crowded and play was painfully slow. Not sure if Rangers would help but it has to be worth a shot. I left the course after 16. The golfers ahead of us were once again searching in the knee high grass.

The actual course was in decent conditions. The bunkers were unplayable. The greens, fairways and rough were in good condition. Besides the bunkers not being in playable condition my other concerns were with the rangers and cart girls. We played 27 holes and every time they came through the hole we were on they did not stop or look to see if anyone was actually playing a shot. It will not be long before one of them gets hit. They were friendly to deal with but the staff did not have very good golf etiquette. We paid 18 dollars to play and for that price it is not a bad course.

When we went they were building a clubhouse. Temporarily they are using a trailer and that is my only complaint. That soon will change though

The course was a little bit crowded. But the facilities at course was in really good shape. Don't plan it being a three hour round. But all And all. It's a very good course to play .

The staff are super friendly and the course was in excellent shape. Played in 4 hours on a Saturday morning which was awesome. Greens were very fast and true. Bunkers were in great shape, rough was challenging but you should not be in it anyway!

I would recommend this course to all golfers. Fairways are wide and the hole layouts make the course challenging and not just a bombers dream.

The greens were very good. The fairways haven't quite came in yet in places. For $40, it was a good price for what we got. My group was happy!

Only second time playing this course. First time was over 4 years ago. New club house opens soon. Very friendly staff. Course was in great shape. Very challenging.

Took 3 plus hours to play 9 holes. Ranger came by and said 1 group was the problem. Problem was never fixed. Just short of 3 hours to play the back 9.

Course can be challenging. Lots of tees to choose from. Played from white (6300+ yards), but blue is 6700+ and tips are 7100+. Early spring conditions abundant and course had a lot of water. Clubhouse is being built (finally). This will add a lot of appeal to the course. I like to play here and will return.

Course is nice and open. The head Pro Josh Boggs and super nice and friendly.

The staff was great. The fairway was better than greens on other courses in the area . This is a must do course if you are in the Columbus ohio area.

This is the 2nd time I've played Westchester & I believe it's one of the nicer courses in the Columbus area. We finished our round in 3 hours & 15 minutes, didn't wait at a single tee box! The course is in pretty solid shape. Greens ran true and the fairways were well-maintained. I wish people would fix their ball marks on the green.. I must've repaired 5 ball marks on every green we were on. I 100% recommend this course, my friend & I will be back to play it soon!

The course is always in great shape. There was a starter and appeared to be a ranger around somewhere. My twosome (which I understand isn't preferred) was stuck behind 5 foursomes playing about as slow as humanly possible. All four players would ride to each others ball and "watch" every shot and ignore the simplest of rules of pace of play etiquette. I probably won't return.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the course, if only because I play a lot of golf in Columbus and figured I'd played all the good public courses. I was wrong...the course was in good shape and the layout is really solid with every hole different and good. I'd love to play the tips next time...I think the course would be a real challenge from there. It wasn't easy from the blues, but it played about 6500 yards and the ball ran a little so it was a lot of hybrid-short irons. Some of those back tees were deep though.
Also, to those who complain about the clubhouse...who cares? The food is solid and I'd rather them spend the $ on the course than the clubhouse.

The fairways and greens are in good shape but the sand bunkers are not sand it is horrible .

This course is very well kept. The greens were slower than normal, but generally roll true. Pace of play is always good hear, particularly during morning rounds. Snacks, drinks ,and hot dogs are available. The pro shop is small, but has a decent variety of apparel, shoes and golf balls.

Well kept course. Don't walk - too far between holes. Over 8 miles from #1 tee to #18 green. Enjoy.

Great staff, wonderful layout, good mix of holes. Poor maintenance. greens do not roll true, muddy bunkers, tee boxes torn to death. Some yardage plates missing on par 3's. Just not what Westchester used to be. It's an average value at Golow prices but off the rack full price...not at all.

Booked a week day t time for a single. Met up with another Golf Now player nsmed Gary. We plsyed together snd had a grest dsy of golf. Course was groomed very well.
