About
The Legends of Massillon consistently ranks as one of the top public golf courses in Ohio. The club has 27 holes of championship golf that is divided into three different nines called East, North, and South. The nines can be played in different 18-hole combinations though they all share heavy smattering of bunkers and water hazards. More than 80 bunkers are strategically placed throughout the 27 holes and water comes into play on 22 of them. Originally opened as an 18-hole golf course, another nine holes were added. Each nine consists of six holes from the original course and three new ones. The South/North combination has greens that are large and inviting and there are four different sets of tees. Players of all skill levels will find a round that suits them.

Very Backed Up Course
I have played Legends multiple times over the past few years but I have never had this bad of an experience. The course was so backed up on a Tuesday around noon. On hole 3 on the East course, my 4-some was one of 4 groups waiting to tee off in the par 3. It would’ve took about 30+ minutes to tee off if we had not left. Legends needs to space out their tee times more and enforce pace of play.

Great Place to Play
We were treated to an enjoyable round of golf. The starter allowed us to modify our course route to include the South course upon request. Everyone at the Legends was very friendly. We will be back many times next year! Thanks for making our day fun!

1st timer
Overall a nice course but wish they would have told me about them aerating the greens before I booked the tee time. I know needs to be done but if I knew I would have played somewhere else.. course is open BUT no easy, shot placement is a must. Water and sand EVERYWHERE.
I play all over and it would rank a solid 3.8-4.0 out of 5.

Great course...good value
One of my favorite courses to play. Three 9's, all of them a little different from each other and fun to play. The greens and fairways were in great shape, and I played quickly as a single, a little under 3 hrs for 18 (East and South). The only 2 suggestions I would make are improve the signage directing golfers from hole 3 to hole 4 on the East...I always get confused where 4 is at, and secondly improve the cart paths, most could use a new surface.

Great course in your backyard.
Great track, excellent layout with just enough challenges,water, bunkers and some small greens. I will definitely be back. Also Great price for an excellent course.

Good time..
Always a pleasure playing the legends. Fair layout, greens are true to stroke. There was an outing that day and lots of un repaired ball marks. Patrons are courteous and friendly.
