The Greens Golf Course of Fayette County

It is a nice course, but as the fairways are close together, we had a large group of members, or at least one member plus (6 carts / 12 people) playing a hole behind us in their personal decked out golf carts. This large group was flying up and down the fairways with audible music, loud outbursts, and just bad golf course etiquette. There was also a young man (10-12 years old) that was bouncing around to different holes and twice came out into our fairway while we were teeing off and dropped a ball to play the same hole we were on, and we had to wait while he now played in front of us. I do not know for sure if this child was with the same group, but a cart from that group did talk to him several times.

While I understand having fun and that members pay annual fees to golf and enjoy certain freedoms. As a just a visitor, I have no ill will, however, it is sad to pay for a round of golf and have the sense of people not caring about other golfers on the course and not caring about the fairways conditions as they race up and down the middle of them in higher speed carts.

It is a beautiful course and a benefit to the community of Washington Court House. I just hope maybe there could be a little better eye on proper golf etiquette, care for others, and the course itself.

course was in good shape for the heat of the summer

Course was in great condition for the heat of the Summer. Greens were also in excellent condition

Nice little 9 hole course! Flat and a little tiny bit boring because of it, but it’s a tight course so it’s still challenging! I liked it and I’ll go back!

It's exactly what they've intended it to be. Simple layout for beginners. Tees and greens were fine. No maintenance done on bunkers so they are now ponds. Back and forth layout so room to spray drivers. No disappointed I played, just know what it is before you go.

Had their club championship the course was closed. Still booked multiple tee times. We waited 2 hour just to be told to wait longer. Play this course if you have no other options. Im glad the people at golf now were understanding and gave me a free refund.

Basically the same nine twice, meaning not much variety in different tee boxes, different back nine layout etc….course plays long. Well kept. Nice greens.

The course was in good shape. Greens were putting true and you had to hit the ball very firm to get the ball to the hole. Very warm day, good playing.

Long course, but fun to play.
