Jasper Hills Golf Club
About
A TRUE REBIRTH, A BRAND NEW BEGINNING. Originally opened in 2000 as “Sebastian Hills”, the 18 hole course was unique with its creative layout and concrete cart paths and brought in many, many golfers over the nearly two decades that it was open. The course closed permanently after the 2017 season. After numerous attempts to sell, the course overgrew and seemed completely hopeless to return as the years ticked by. But then in 2021, a new hope was sparked. Local residents decided to take a chance on this 18 hole dream. Their love for the beauty of the land the course sits on inspired them to bring it back to life. It truly was a mountain of an undertaking, but they were up for the challenge. The course has new owners, new vision, new business plan, new everything but the beautiful piece of property the course sits on. The course remains the same layout but nearly every other aspect has been been given new attention and love.

Great Course but needs Bathrooms!
We love the course, even though it’s pretty challenging! The clubhouse and bar and grill are always a favorite stop as well. Mady was a great bartender/waitress.
The front 9 does not have a bathroom. I still can’t believe courses today still lack this basic MUST HAVE feature. Seriously. Even a portapotty like the back 9, but honestly a building is best. PLEASE.
Anyways, great course, great food, great service.
I have played this course before and I was surprised at the lack of enthusiasm when I checked in. It has been a while since I played this course but I didn’t feel the welcoming atmosphere that I was accustomed to in the past. The bunkers need some work. I may come back later in the year to see if things improve.
One of the best in the area
Course is in great shape. Greens especially were good. This is one of the best public courses in or around the Dayton area.
Tee boxes
The course is in really good condition they’ve done a great job getting it back in shape after the turf disease they experienced last year. The tee boxes most are in pretty good condition. There are some that are still not quite healed up, but they are working on it. You can tell they’ve done some split seeding to try and bring them back. Overall, a fantastic course and if you’ve never eaten out there, their food is delicious!
Good challenging course.
Pros:
Great food and priced fairly, the bar is nice and golf carts are good quality. The course is in very good shape and is fun to play.
Cons:
They desperately need a bathroom or at least a port-a-potty on the front nine. The round was pretty slow overall, 4 hours and 50 min for 18 holes. Even with us pairing up with a two-some in front of us. They eventually had to skip the 18th hole because the round was taking too long.
Good public course BUT NOT SENIOR FRIENDLY
I will start by saying the course is certainly not SENIOR friendly. I’m not going to leave a bad review because of that however giving seniors 10-15yds each hole is not enough especially on the par 5’s it was of zero help to my older golf buddy and an utter waste of his time the way it was all set up for seniors… everything else was great no complaints and joy leaving a bad review because of it but that could certainly use some tweaking. Will play again I enjoyed it but he did not.
Awesome value!
Very nice course with super friendly staff! Nice bar and restaurant as well!
Wonderful
The course was in great condition (aside from some beat up tee boxes). Greens were well taken care of and the front 9 is fairly challenging.
Surprised
I played Jasper once before in an outing and I felt the course was great! However, this experience was the opposite. The course was in terrible shape. Majority of the tee boxes were like concrete with very little grass. The pace of play was terrible, back 9 took 2 and 1/2 hours for 2 of us.
Great course
Considering this years weather everything real good , excellent greens and fairways
Great course
A little burnt from the hot weather bot greens were really good and fairways were good 👍
Pace of play too slow. Definitely will not play a Saturday again
