Love playing here
They had just top dressed the greens and with a lack of rain they are healing slow, but they still rolled pretty true. They do a good job on maintaining the course and I always enjoy playing here. The staff is nice and friendly. Although I play a lot of different courses I consider this my home course.
Need to clean up back nine
The course is ok. A lower green fee would be more fitting then $30 and up. The pro shop personal could take lessons from bar staff in friendliness. Lots of little things like cleaning up the first rough cut and keeping the greens in better condition. Last 2 holes on course are best on course. The further you move away from club house the worse the playing conditions get. Not fun unless you hit every shot in or near middle of fairway. In all everything is in between, and the course is teetering between good and bad. Pick a direction and set green fees accordingly because now too high for what you get. The online Golf Pass specials never align with what you are tersely told by pro shop staff that they are not qualified for reasons-very confusing......
Great course
Awesome well kept course for the money. Staff was really friendly and didn’t feel rushed at all. I’ll be back soon.
review
Meadow Oaks is always a fun course to play.... there is not too much water or sand hazards which is a good thing for a high handicapper. The staff has always been very accommodating and friendly.....It's one of the nicest courses in the area and I look forward to playing there again soon....
Excellent course
We had a very good time. Course lay out is awesome. We will be back for a few more rounds.
No rain check for golf now people
course it's a very nice course the only problem is they don't give rain checks to golf now customers
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
Working on the fairways.. Reseeding?
Fairways are not in good shape due to reseeding... Will probably be better in a few weeks...Enjoy playing this course, but will wait a few weeks for better Fairways.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Morning Dew
Very good experience. Had a 7:42 tee time arrived about 7:25. Pro shop sent me out right away before the league started. Greatest pace I ever had at this course, got in 18 holes in 2 hours.
The course was quite wet in some places. Off fairways it was tough getting ball out of the wet stuff. Greens were wet but still fast.
This course has some nice scenery and partially there is forest. Some holes have tighter fairways where an errant shot will land in a yard.
Nice people around this course.
Thank you for reviewing us. We see you rated the course 3-stars and are interested in learning what we can do to improve before your next round. Thank you for playing Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club, and we hope to see you again soon.
Neat little corse.
You will enjoy playing here especially if you keep it in play. Fairways and greens are very decent, perhaps a touch on the slower side but role nice and true. If you’re a decent ball striker with average length you can reach some of the par fives in two which is fun and the par threes are kind of shorter ones most likely mid and short irons distances.
Great course for the money
We were one of the first off the tee box so we did not run into anyone until the 14th when we caught up with a Saturday morning tournament that started off of 10.
In terms of the course, greens were in great shape for mid-summer. Fairways were decent. The challenge were the tee boxes. They all sloped and for 1/2 of them it felt as though you had to see off from a mound. The ball was either above or below our feet in probably 15 of the 18 tee boxes.
Overall, the course felt isolated from the neighborhood (which was great) and there were some really good, challenging holes. I’ll definitely play this one again.
