Pleasantly Surprised
First visit here. Arrived early and advised they were running early and starter got us going in front of a very large group. Course was reopened 2 years ago after a multi-million $ renovation. It is a hilly, up and down layout that's fun and challenging. 5 par 3's are long with majority hitting over water and all carry. Course is close between holes, with errant shots potentially hitting into other golfers.
Greens hadn't been cut in awhile and heavily sanded after seeding to allow them to grow in. Greens should be excellent in a couple months. Nice and firm and will be fast.
Look forward to going back in a few weeks.
Nice layout - greens very poor
Course is a challenging layout with elevation changes. Each time I've been there the greens are SLOW.
I just played there pn 2/6/25 and the greens were covered with sand. Additionally, they were spreading sand and watering them while we were playing.
I would estimate speed of greems to be an 8 or less.
Won't be going back there for a long time.
Nice course, friendly people.
Love the course (layout and overall condition).
The staff is always accommodating and friendly.
Practice areas are nice, no range.
Pace of play
Almost 5 hours to play 18. Have no idea why it was so slow? Staff were great. Interesting layout with some elevation changes.
Pleasantly Surprised!
Played the course for the first time and what a wonderful experience it was. From the moment I checked in I was greeted with friendliness and warmth. Very professional staff and the starter followed me for the first two holes giving me pointers regarding the course lay out. The course was in very good shape and I enjoyed a very good round. Without a doubt, the upmost professionalism of the staff convinced me to return soon to play this course again. Great job!
Great Greens
Fun course to play, helps to have played previously
Very good greens, interesting layout, fairway could be better.
Very good course except being paired up all the time
Great course to play, however always getting paired up which we are constantly being told it’s because of Golf Now. I pay for my wife and I to play and all pairings have been good. But would be nice to play just the two of us. What makes it worse is they put a single or pair behind us which is a problem with pace of play.
Hidden Gem
Wow, hidden gem for sure! The staff was amazing and very helpful! From inside the Proshop to outside on the course absolutely fantastic. They are working on some of the fairways but tee boxes and greens are excellent, course is short but very challenging. Great job we will be back!
