Do not pay to play here
The pictures on GolfNow isn’t even of this course! Worst course conditions in the state of Florida.
Course condition
The course conditions were in pretty bad shape. It looks like they have not kept up with maintenance on it at all in a very long time. This is a shame because I used to come here all the time to go golfing and never had any issues with the course maintenance, even the walkway up to the par. 3 on hole number seven is all overgrown like crazy up the greens are all rotted out. Not good at all
This used to be one of my favorite courses to play but I haven't been there in about a year and it definitely looks like they have not been keeping up with it at all.
And I actually paid more this time to play than I did a year ago and a year ago the greens were in great condition.
Hopefully they can get it under control because it is a nice course if they can get it back to the way it used to be.
Course under repair
Course is currently undergoing irrigation system repairs. Upon checking in the staff informed us of the repairs that the repairs were taking place but this would have been nice to know before Driving 2hrs to the course.
Very poor condition
Virtually unplayable -could I get some kind of refund or credit
What happened!
This was one of our favorite courses, however, we will not be going back. The greens were in really bad shape, the womens bathroom has been locked the last 2 times we have been there, the mens is absolutely filthy, no toilet paper in the mens. And the weeds have grown up in around the course! There were only about 2 or 3 of the putting greens that were truly all green i really hope that plans are in place to return this course to a playable, enjoyable course! We played 18 holes and never had anyone in front or behind us! Was sad to see the shape this course was in!
Horrible!!!!
Paid $41 and should have been told by pro shop how poor this course was in. I would recommend playing Quail Heights or Turkey Creek if you’re in the area or traveling through.
Posting pics of #8 green. Only 3 greens you can putt!
Fairways and rough are in poor condition and need to be cut
Greens and tee boxes were great
Playing solo in the morning feels rushed
Too many groups playing at a time
Terrible Conditions
Been a member here for years and I worked at this course growing up. It’s truly sad to see this course in its current state. The owners that bought the course a few years ago have totally abandoned it. Not sure why you would purchase a golf course just to watch it degrade to its current conditions. Has to be a money laundering scheme.
Once Was Great
This course was at one point an amazing course for the area. The pricing was always great when compared to the quality of the course.
However, in the last year, the course has fallen into some disrepair. The greens and fairways are still adequate but not as pristine as they once were.
The roughs were not maintained in the way that they should be and it was evident that very little money or effort had been put into the course this past year to fix any issues or mismanaged course conditions.
Tee times are basically pointless as the club house uses them only as a reservation. People were allowed to tee off immediately after we were out of range, even though we paid for a second tee time to allow us to have more space.
This is still the best course in the area and a course I love deeply. I hope they will make improvements soon and restore the course to the prominence it once held.
Ok at best
The good:
Hot deal on golf now made it $35.
Pace of play was good
Greens were in descent shape. Very playable
The bad:
Tee boxes were rough
Fairways were rough on at least 1/2 the holes. Some were ok but overall it was not good
Bunkers had no sand
Cart paths need fixed or redone
The actual rate of $53 is ludicrous. Even the after 12 rate is too much
Fun Round Of Golf
THE PIN LOCATIONS WERE CHALLENGING, GREAT ROUND OF GOLF. HOPEFULLY WE CAN FILM HERE SO FOR OUR HATTER TV GOLF YOUTUBE CHANNEL
