Good Value.
The club house was nice and the fairways and tee boxes were in decent shape. The greens though had alot of weeds and some bare spots, but given the price this was somewhat expected. Good Value for 18 holes.

First time to play here. New to the area but this was a great experience. I played a few courses in the area in the last 6 months and The Lakes is by far the best "bang for the buck" course I have played thus far. Cost and distance to travel is great. Course is in great shape compared to others. I think this will be my "go to" course going forward.

I had a tee time for 1:00. Showed up at 12:45. Paid my fee. Then a rumble of thunder was heard.
As soon as I paid they put up the no rain check sign. Basically I paid $ 15 for one hole of golf.

Cheap course that’s decent!
Would play again for the price. Not the nicest course you’ll play, but it ain’t bad.

Horrible shape
The greens are worse than I have ever ver seen. Weeds and bare spots. Exposed sprinkler heads and dug out with no markings. Needs much work before I come back.

Very Rustic Indeed!
This course was at the mildest to say rustic! Often I did not know if I was in the rough or the fairway. The greens were terrible to say the least. However, I must give credit to the staff for being very friendly and extremely helpful. The signage was very poor on directing us to the next hole, at times finding ourselves at a loss on how to get there! The water features were very murky and not appealing to the eye at all. I did, however, have an extremely good round scoring 9 over par.

Starting to deteriorate again
The course was making a comeback but now looks shabby again. There's a real grouch who lives off the third hole and if you come anywhere near his multitude of "No Treaspassing" signs, he comes out without a shirt and cusses you out. He told me to go back to New York...I said I live in The Villages all year. There was a single old guy in front of me and a twosome in front of him. Nobody was going around to remind people to keep up with the group in front of you....

Lady Lake golf club
Price was good. But I guess you get want you pay for. This could be a good short golf course. The lay out is not bad. But today 4/27/21 the condition of the greens was the worse I have seen in my 54 years of playing.

First Time
Not the best conditions. Greens could use some $$$ and time. Play was slow with beginners and families. Yet, for $25 it was OK. The weather was good. Man at counter I hope was not the usual experience a customer receives.

Fairways are non existing. There is no live grass on greens.
