SLOW

Even though people where calling the pro shop to complain about slow play no course marshal DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I know there is a drought but it is getting pretty bad unless you are good at picking a ball off of sand. I do like the course and hope we get more rain but the Groupe in front of us was playing white and gold tees and all belonged on the red or better yet an executive course I doubt if they broke 150

Interesting layout, lots of elevation changes, which is uncommon in central Florida, so nice change of pace. Fairways could use a little work, but overall, really decent course for the money.

Nice Course!

Decent course just outside The Villages. Conditions were good and layout was interesting with some elevation changes ,surprising for the area.

Greens were good as were tee boxes and fairways.

Bar Manager

I was threatened by the bar manager in front of friends today while discussing the white wine menu. The bar manager came to me and asked if I had a problem with her. I simply said no, just the wine choices. My friends and I were discussing, amongst ourselves that it’s odd not to serve Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc at a bar. She then actually got in my face and pointed at me with something. We left, and she followed us outside! I was afraid of her. I ran to the cart person who was with the ranger on duty. They saw her following me outside and video recording me for what I have no clue. I was afraid to go to my car and they assured me they would keep an on me until I was safely in my car. This was a devistating experience for me to say the least. The course is in great shape. Steer clear of the bar. She was out of line. I’m pretty sure I know why.
