Just okay.
The course can be challenging because of the layout and the outbounds areas and the lakes that come into play on some holes. The fairways have a lot of poor grass and weeds. They are lush because of the rains that we've had lately. The greens are bumpy with a lot of weeds on them also. You have to hit the ball straight or you will be in trouble often.
I think other than the course being wet and balls tending to plug - which happens when it is wet - the course is in good shape.

Too wet and crab grass on greens
I really like this course and I hope the Schlarmar team keeps working on improving the course like they have. Rain sucks for this course, I should say lots of rain sucks for the course . Anyway I know when the team can mow and the greens can be treated for the crab grass this course will be top notch.

Water
Soooooooooo much water. I get cart path only when rain is intense. Howeve4, I should never lose a ball on the fairway because of mud.

Nice layout but that’s about it.
Course was incredibly saturated and very wet in most places. Tee boxes looked like they hadn’t been cut in days. Fairways were not short, either. Greens were slow and in pretty rough shape. Was looking forward to this round before it started but wish I would’ve picked a different place to play.

First Time
Conditions were wet due to a lot of rain. Booked through GOLFNOW for Monday @ 9:56. Arrived at 9 am and went out immediately by myself. Fairways Fairways furry due to wet and not being mowed. Greens spotty but true. #18 is truly the #1 handicap hole

Obviously wet…
Course is soaked obviously due to all the recent rain but man the greens are just awful. They hold well but are inundated with weeds, nothing is going to roll true until they get this under control. Always super nice people to deal with from check in to leaving, great customer service. Course is super tight too, got to hit it straight! It’ll be a while before we go back. Not bad just to muck it around.

COMPLEMENTARY PLAY BOOK
I haven't played this joint for a while. The pro shop attendant gave me a play book to help with the conditions of the course ( very wet, cart path only ). I used the play book, and followed it. It helped me shoot a wonderful day of play. Staff was awesome, fairways were soggy, greens could use some attention with the crows foot grass. I mean the place is built in a swamp. No complaints here. I'll be back.

While we were teeing off the course ranger was going back and forth on the fairway making it difficult For us to tee off plus telling us were our balls ended up on the the course. Very rude and we did not need his input to our game and enjoyment. We will not go back to this course. We shot two under par and we didn’t appreciate his input to our game. This course isn’t much of a challenge except for the interference the staff made it out to be. For the memorial weekend it was not enjoyable they need to treat their customers much more friendly and with more respect.

Short but tight
It's a shot maker course. Driver not necessarily the club of choice off the tee for par 4's. Greens were aerated and still recovering. Water can be an issue on 12 holes.
