Golfer Reviews
Still, not good.
Loved in Lakeland all my life. I know greens seem to always look good here. They were so thick that you almost needed a 4 iron to putt. Grass on tee boxes were also very thick. No water on course at all in 96 degree heat. No cart person, ever. For the value, sure, it was nice and peaceful as the area was beautiful and green. But the course let me down so much I left after 13holes. Save your money and go elsewhere. I'd have rather spent money at their barren driving range.
Keeps getting worse
95 degrees and feels like 100. Heatstroke Warning! No water coolers or ice available on the entire 27 hole course. Unfreeking believable! Very inconsistent/poor fairway maintenance. Some were so long you’d loose your ball or many balls. This isn’t the US Open for Pete’s sake. Greens very inconsistent as well. Not cut the same from hole to hole. Speed ranging from ok to slow. I think they maybe have two ball washers for each 9 with no water or rag to wipe your ball off. And…not to mention the cart paths with pot holes that can topple the cart over if you’re not careful. Maintenance needs to be fired!
Fun , different course! Lots of fun
Great course . Lots of fun . Every time you play there the pin placement is always challenging! While it's relatively short. Ypu will have a blast
Hidden Jem
Three 9 hole courses fairways need some trimming but greens where perfect and layout is challenging felt like I was up north playing loved it can't wait to play again
Garbage course
I've been playing there for years. And all of a sudden during this league that they have going on, they decide they are not gonna let one person go in a cart. You have to have a double all I can figure is the guy's a democrat and needs money for his gas. I would not recommend this course to anyone. And we'll make sure I tell all my friends that we will not be playing there. Have spent enough money there in the past. They could have paved, at least one cart path with what I've spent. Cart paths are horrible shape.
Great Course
Great course on the south side of Lakeland. Affordable, and the new ownership is really improving the course. Greens have evolved over the last few months. If you play on the weekends, be prepared for pace of play to slow down as this course is beginner friendly, and large groups may alter pace of play.
Needs work
Cart paths are extremely dangerous! Make sure your medical insurance is up to date. Your back could be thrown out on any given hole. Maybe even your whole body thrown out.. Been playing golf for over 50yrs and never experienced such deplorable conditions! The fairways are not much better. The greens, however, are great!
Everything about this course is terrible
Slim fairways, half dead greens, 20 year old carts, everything about this course is bad.
Short Par Fours are handicap friendly!
Holes 2, 4, 5 and 7 will help you get to the green in regulation! Putting is the challenge! Gotta watch the ball speed! The par 5 #9 hole is a fun challenging hole! Bobcat is a favorite!
Need to water
Don't play on Sunday really slow. Fairways have little grass greens are in good shape
Good to see the whole course...
Played here a few weeks ago and played the B and C nines. Got to play A and C today, so I've played all three of them now.
The mostly tight fairways, limited bunkering, and no water (other than lateral on one hole) make this an unusual course for the area. Mostly elevated and frequently domed greens make the course a challenge even so. If it weren't an hour away, it would be on my play list fairly regularly.
