About
Located just minutes from downtown Canton, The Quarry Golf Club was built on the site of an old quarry that dates back to the 1800s. The location provides a dramatic landscape featuring cliffs that stretch over 100 feet, meandering streams, and deep-water lakes. The golf course utilizes the natural diverse features of the terrain, which lends each hole a unique character. Despite being an old quarry, there are many mature trees that line the fairways. Rocky outcroppings and native grasses border the gently undulating greens and water also comes into play frequently. It's a golf course that demands accuracy and you may find that you need to use all the clubs in your bag. The tee shots can seem intimidating initially but the landing areas are more generous than they appear.

Hidden Gem
The layout and the character of this course is absolutely fabulous, Ohio’s hidden gem.
My new favorite course to play in all of ohio
Everything was great about this round. The conditions were great. A lot of really nice hole layouts. Challenging. 5 star course!
Awesome course
This is now my favorite course. Tight but fair fairways. Greens were great. The views are remarkable.
The Quarry review
Love this golf course. The rough was high and thick-too wet for them to cut. Could not hit out of that rough. Green speeds were normal. Great layout, so much fun playing this course. Had the course to ourselves, not busy at all.
My Happy Place
If you live in a 2 1/2 hour radius from this place, it is a must visit. The layout will have you grinning from ear to ear. Not a single weak hole on the property. A true 10 across the board. It doesn’t get better in terms of a public layout.
Much improved, Great Staff, just Slow
The rough first, the play was slow even for an afternoon cart path only round for this course. We finished the front nine almost 3.5 hours after our tee time with 5 groups on almost every hole.
The good news, the staff was incredible. I went in to ask for a rain check on the back nine and the gentleman was both apologetic and helpful. He gave us the rain check with out question and said he hopes we’ll come back.
The best part, the course conditions were the best that I’ve seen them here in two years. Two years ago it was almost unplayable with the greens mostly dead and fairways that were just mud. This time the greens, fairways, and tees were pristine considering it’s April and we’ve had a lot of rain recently. I think if they keep this up, and get the rough back to the way it used to be when it first opened it will be back to being one of the best courses in the area.
Even with the slow play I’ll make sure to go back. It’s a great layout and hopefully this extreme slow play was an outlier.
My groups “treat” course..
It’s a little far away for my friends and I, but we still manage to make the trip a few times a year. The quarry is breathtaking. With undulating greens, extreme elevation differences, pristine fairways, and jaw dropping views of quarry walls, lush trees & several beautiful body’s of water hiding throughout. It really makes for a magical day out with friends.
