About
Located just minutes from downtown Canton, The Quarry Golf Club was built on the site of an old quarry that dates back to the 1800s. The location provides a dramatic landscape featuring cliffs that stretch over 100 feet, meandering streams, and deep-water lakes. The golf course utilizes the natural diverse features of the terrain, which lends each hole a unique character. Despite being an old quarry, there are many mature trees that line the fairways. Rocky outcroppings and native grasses border the gently undulating greens and water also comes into play frequently. It's a golf course that demands accuracy and you may find that you need to use all the clubs in your bag. The tee shots can seem intimidating initially but the landing areas are more generous than they appear.

Always a great day at the Quarry Golf Course.
Been playing here since it opened. Was in a league here for 10 years. Great layout and conditions are always good. Only problem now is the par 5 hole number 15. A total mess until they figure out the drainage/water problems..
Cut down the trees
Course is challenging and beautiful, with huge elevation changes. Fairways were in great shape, but the greens were not. Very bumpy greens and very slow play. Need to cut rtrees back from tee boxes so golfers can enjoy the scenery and actually see the fairway. A few issue with water drainage (they are fixing). Greet clubhouse and food and staff was really nice. Just need to do some work to get the course back to how it used to be.

Rainy day
Even though it was a rainy day, the course is awesome. Staff are always friendly and they have always got me out hitting even when I call on short notice. It is challenging so don’t push it unless you can back it up. The course is very peaceful and elevation can be tricky.

Great layout just bad condition and pace of play
Course has wonderful layout and pretty but greens were terrible and grass hasn’t been cut in while. Got stuck playing behind people and played 4 holes in a hour.

Amazing
This course is more than a hidden gem. The layout is absolutely stunning. I had a hard time remembering that we were in Canton, Ohio. The views are stunning, the course is tough but fair. Pace of play is hard to rate as we were the second group off and never had to wait to hit a shot, which was great. We took lots of pictures and completed the round in under 4 hours. I highly recommend this course, I will be going back for sure!!

not good
usually one of my favorite courses, i know its early in the year but the course is not green at all the greens (browns) were so bumby it was horrible putting, fairways were cut but did not look good they always have drainage problems, most courses do.Expected much better because this course is usually so nice, I will give them one more try in a month or so and hopefully it is back where it used to be

Beautiful course
Though the weather was cold and it was carth path only, I really enjoyed the course. It was beautiful even without the leaves. I would love to come back soon when all the trees have leaves. The course was beautiful with challenging shots, but still enjoyable. The green was a bit slow, but it is early in the season so it is understandable. It was worth 1.5 hr of driving, and I will definitely be back.

Amazing
Breathtaking course for Ohio. Expensive, greens are slow even in the summer, but they roll true. It's still worth playing at least once but after the first time, you'll want more.
Do not come here if you normally shoot over 90 at regular courses, you won't have fun. Lol
