Fun Course
From the time I showed up to when I left, I had a very fun experience. The check-in guy was very helpful. I hit a few on the range and then played my round. I was only one of a couple people playing on a Monday morning, so I got around in less than 2 hours. The course was in decent condition. The greens were coming back from aeration and were very slow. The only real issue I had was trying to find my way to the next hole a couple of times, as it wasn't always clearly marked. There isn't much for cart paths (dirt), so it's not obvious where to go sometimes. I definitely recommend Indian Springs!
One of my faves A+
Love this course, would play more often if closer to my house. I drive over an hour each way to play here when I can. Excellent value and enjoy the layout. Pro shop always super friendly.
Wow a disaster
I thought it couldn’t be worse than last time but it was. Greens were were recently punched which made every putt a bumpy ride having no idea where the ball was going. The fairways were hard as a rock as usual making pure contact impossible. Threw golf now I got a cheap price but I’d rather pay more to play well kept course. It’s a total waste for a golf course to be there when the land could be used for anything else.
Good value
The fairways and some greens were in rough shape. Booked tee time on a golf app and the price was a real bargain. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good range and putting green.
Needs rain to be a nice course
If you are looking for a fast paced round, this is the place. I was a solo and finished in just under 3 hours. However, that's because most folks knew this course wasn't worth playing at the time. The course was in dire need of serious rain. The fairways and greens were like concrete. My average drive is 225-230, but for this round it was 278. Not a problem until you hit your approach and it would land on the green, and instead of stopping it would bounce 20 yards past.
The young lady working the pro shop and the snack bar was very nice.
If the area received consistent rain to soften the course a little, I'd consider going back, but not until then.
A Nice Place
I have played this course before. The fairways were dry and thin, but otherwise in good shape. To be fair the area has been experiencing a period of limited rainfall. The greens had some bumpy spots, but for the most part the ball ran true. When I missed a put it had little to do with any bumps. I would go back and play again.
Needs work
This course although one of the less expensive ones in the area needs a good overhaul. Fairways are very short grass, if any and hard as a rock. Greens are speedy but that’s because of the absence of any grass. It’s almost like putting on hard dirt. As a whole I have noticed any courses in the lower price ranges do need a lot of work in this part of Florida. If you don’t want to pay 100 dollars or more to play a premium golf course these are the conditions your going to find on all the cheaper courses.
