The Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya (formerly known as The Golf Club at Playacar) offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and the work of man. Great course, price includes breakfast or lunch and all on and off course beverages. Booking with GolfNow/GolfPass is the only way to go.
The course closes at 4:30. No way to finish if you tee off after 1:00.
Mediocre service. At the beginning no towel, no tee, no ice in the cool box. Service not classy at

The staff is amazing the food is wonderful greens are super fast if you can handle that you will love the scores Paco the Other guys that work there are wonderful I will come back every time I’m here!
I brought a friend!
I met Mike at the pool bar. He wanted to golf so I booked the twosome at Hard Rock. Needless to say Mike was blown away with the course, but also the staff and the amenities. He wants to come back, I just don’t know if I have the budget or time. It was great!!
All inclusive golf
Check in and getting our rental clubs was slow,staff loading the carts with clubs. Not friendly at all, they were more concerned getting us off the course, had 2 tee times 12:30, had to be off the course by 4:45, they tild us this after we prepaid $900

Nice course but not that shiny anymore
I played Hard Rock Hotel Golf Course. First it seemed quite nice but the whole course with all its Off Course Amenities is not in its best years anymore. Especially for the greenfee price of 180 USD I expected a lot more since I played other courses in the area for around the same price that are absolutely beautiful. The free food and drinks included in the greenfee didn't make the difference for me.
Regarding the course itself, it is quite challenging and the hole designs are nice.

Great Value
Great course especially if you get the golf now rate. We got it for around $100 US per player but included shuttle transportation to and from our hotel which saved us $40
The staff is very friendly and the food was excellent. Did I mention our rate was all inclusive, drinks food and transportation. You can’t beat it. Totally enjoyed the course but greens were a little slower than I am used too
Fun Layout
The course is entertaining and fun however there are better courses near Playa if you are willing to travel. During the high season don’t expect the same level of polish as US resorts of similar pricing.
Always a Hit!!
I always nameless sure I bring my clubs when in Cancun/Riviera Maya. Always challenging, great conditions and worth every penny. Will go again next time in town!!

Green to slow and easy
Rental club look like garbage no wedge and no possibility to get it, So you get a pitch 45 degre to sand 60 degre and all the club sound bad
