Excellent challenging course.
The course was in amazing shape. This layout is challenging but playable even for my high handicap. The driving range was in amazing shape and hitting off grass is always nice.
Kansas couple
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Greens were very nice, difficult to read and very fast. Need to pay attention to the GPS for the ditches that cross many of the fairways, but can’t be seen from where you are hitting.
Favorite course in Abilene
I travel to Abilene for work pretty consistently and I always make sure to play a round here. Conditions are always very good. And no issue with pace of play ever.
Great day of golf
The weather was perfect, the course was immaculate, the pace of play was outstanding. Just to reiterate, it was a great day of golf at a very fair price, on a really nice course! I'll be back soon!
Live Oak in July
The course was in great condition except for a couple of greens. They had just aerated the tee boxes and some of them still had the cores laying on them. The golf now available tee times are only at 11:00 am so it was getting pretty hot before we got our 18 holes in. Beverage cart made it by 4 times while we were playing so plenty of refreshments. Overall it was a great round of golf on super plush fairways.
Really nice course and well maintained
The course is great, well maintained, perfect grass and really enjoyable holes to play. The area is very nice.
The only thing it made me not to enjoy was a slow and non-respectful group of players I had ahead, nothing to complain to the course management.
Awesome public course
This is my 6th round this year playing the course. Excellent value whether with Military Tee Times or not. New owners are doing many improvements on the course. Only draw back, is those that play don't repair the divots on the greens. Would have received a hire course rating.
