About
The Golf Club at Dove Mountain features 27 challenging holes that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Saguaro/Tortolita golf course is naturally named after its beautiful landscape of centuries-old Saguaro cacti nestled at the base of the Tortolita Mountain Range. The golf course meanders though desert washes covered in native flora and fauna. There are large greens that feature plenty of movement. The par-3 third hole on the Tortolita nine has the highest elevation of any at the golf club. There are also strategically placed fairway bunkers and a few forced carries.

Great Desert Course!
Tough course in good shape. Greens are fast. Will be back when less windy.
Great course
The course was in great shape, greens were great, fast and true.
Too big for its britches
I had played this course when the WGC match play was still being held at the course. At that time the course conditions were fantastic. I had a friend from out of town visit and he wanted to play a “premium “ course. Dove Mountain is charging a high rate but is showing a lack of investment in the course. The most obvious was lack of sand in green side bunkers, and the material that was there was very rocky!!
If this course was $100 during season, I would recommend it, but at almost twice that... not so much!

Great layout, slow pace of play
Excellent course with a challenging layout. Knew there were issues at start due to no golf carts available. Started late and pace was bad. 5 hour round. Would play again.
Enjoyed our day at Dove Mountain
Arrived at 11 am to chilly and windy conditions but that did not keep us from enjoying the round. Lots of sand everywhere with multiple forced carries. The greens had a lot of undulations but that just added to the challenge. Course is in wonderful condition and we finished in less than four hours. When we come back we just need to remember it is 8 degrees cooler here than in Phoenix.
Always interesting!
Have played here often over the past few years and always find ways to add value to my game. Whether working on my wedge shots by not hitting driver and laying up, to trying to hit every green in regulation, you can find that all on this course. It challenges you.
Excellent layout and scenery is fantastic. The course was in great condition other than green side bunkers. They were hard with very shallow sand.
