Very satisfied
We were all very satisfied with the course conditions the pace of play and everything involved. Will definitely be going back.
Two different courses
Front 9 was in disrepair. Maintenance crew followed me for entire front nine spraying fertilizer. Loud and not conducive to a relaxing afternoon or my golf game. Greens we’re rough. At one point I was teeing off on par 3 and they walked onto the green with ball in flight, landing within 5 feet of them.
Back 9 was great. Greens rolled well and no loud maintenance following me around.
Needs some TLC
Poor signage & close side-by-side fairways have golfers hitting dangerously close to you. Play was slow with no marshals to keep anyone on time. Staff was friendly. Limited cart path with rough in bad shape. Greens were fair.
Great conditions right now.
Overseed seems to have taken really well. Greens were lush, almost to a fault, but no excuses, right? Staff was great. Pace of play was surprisingly quick, with our group finishing in just under 4 hours. Eventually they will need to find a way to keep people on the cart paths so they barren spots can grow in, but overall it’s a great value!
Not ready for play
Overall the course was in great shape as it was just coming out of being overseeded. The greens were really nice but were not ready to be played on yet as they were roughly the length of a teebox. They had to have been rolling at about a 3 on the STIMP. Typically, this wouldn't be a big deal if the green fees represented a discount for basically unplayable greens. The pace of play was great mainly because I was the only person out there which should be a sign to the course that they have it overpriced. In addition, it would be nice if there would have been an alert when booking the tee time other than just overseed alert which doesn't typically mean the greens are 2 inches long.
Shag Carpet
Love this course- staff is helpful. Super disappointed about the condition of the greens today. We couldn’t putt because the grass was so long. I understand that courses need to be managed through the seasons, it just would be nice if there was a heads up in the site. Paying full price and not being able to putt is a bummer.
Ehh
Course is ok super rough . But it’s been my second time playing here so far and for the amount of money your paying you would think there would be a cart lady. Now I wonder if your allowed to bring your own small ice chest?
Crooked Tree
Always a nice course to play . Greens were really long since reseeding. Fairway were a little long also
i have played this course many times. I thought it was the course was in the worse condition I've ever seen it . My 3 guests from out of town remarked the same way.
Worse course in Tucson
Was definitely not worth $30 for this course in its condition. Waste of time and money.
Don’t play
Haven’t played here in a couple of years. Will not return until dollars are spent improving course and surrounding areas.
Played just days before annual over seeding but that was not a problem. The course will not benefit from the over seeding as there is no turf to build on. Greens were absolutely the worst I’ve ever played on in my 56 years of golfing.
I would not recommend anyone spending any dollars to play here any time soon.
Disappointing
The course conditions were poor to say the least. The greens were putting on hay. The driving range was far greener than the fairways. The rough was greener than the fairways. Pace of play was slow. Price was $37.50 per player. Not worth it.
Horrible
The course was in very bad condition. Said they were getting ready to aerate. Fairways, greens, tee's were burnt out and had many bare spots. The 15th hole cup was sitting in a hole twice the size of the cup. Had not played the course for 2 years and probably wont play it again for another 2 years. Were seeding around several greens and just putting seed on bare ground with no preparation. Do they have a real greenskeeper?!
disappointing
It was right before their overseed, so we expected shaved conditions, but were shocked at how dry the course was. We played there 4 or 5 years ago and it was lush green. Very crowded this time, some holes with 4 groups. All bunkers were rough grass.
