Quarry Pines Golf Club

it's really very sad that such a beautiful layout has such poor greens and poor maintenance of their fairways.

Played a quick back nine early in the morning. Courses was great, staff was great, super cheap for the course too.

Amazing views, difficult back 9 with satisfying holes

The out-of-towners choose this course to play first during their visit. We all love the challenge that the Pines has to offer. The changes of elevation, especially on the back nine, are dramatic. We had a truly wonderful round.

A rough day on my last outing ("Shrapnel" is my nickname now, as I was spraying balls everywhere). But my crushing beat-down by the course only makes me want to go out there again. This is a unique place to play a bit of "the game", and I like the challenges of that the course presents...kinda hard, but not impossible.

The course was in immaculate shape and for the price is a great value. Back nine is challenging but some impeccable holes. Greens were on the slower side but rolled well.

Quarry Pines is an interesting course with the front and back nines being completed different. For me, what makes the ranking of this course average; rather than good or excellent, is the condition of the greens. The greens have a inordinate amount of sand, which I believe hurst an otherwise good to great course. While I don't play this course a lot (4 or 5 times yearly), it was the first I have played the course with the sandy greens.

The course is in really good shape. The carts with the built in GPS systems are very nice. It’s an interesting layout, especially the back nine.

Very unique. As the name suggests, a course built around and in an old quarry. The front nine is on top and the back nine inside the quarry. Front is fairly typical with water, sand and all the typical challenges. The back nine is very quirky in places, but not goofy. The two par 5's on the back are extremely challenging.

For the price, a very good value. The staff were very warm and accommodating.

I highly recommend if you're in the area to give it a try.

This is a beautiful course very well maintained but I will be glad when the bunkers in the back nine are finished it will be even more beautiful with the white sands in the background protecting the greens
