Treasure Hills Golf Club
About
Treasure Hills GC is one of the better layouts in the Rio Grande Valley. Built on rolling terrain, the wide fairways present nice targets off the tee, and the elevated greens require taking an extra club every now and then. While not an overbearing factor, water hazards come into play throughout the design.
Getting there : From Hwy 77 driving south, exit on Ed Carey and turn left. When you come to Business 77 turn right, drive down to Trailer Hills Blvd. and turn left. Veer right at the split in the road and turn left on Pinehurst, where you'll see signs to the course.

You get what you pay for
18 holes with a cart for $20 is not bad. Could be decent if they just mowed consistently.
Course overview
Course looked better than expected, but cuz of recent rain the mosquitoes were really bad
Great course but current conditions not favorable
Good experience as usual but as the staff told us, all greens were affected by the recent cold temperatures. Greens on 1st and 18th holes are provisional. All others we’re still heavily affected. Otherwise, the course would be in great condition.
Sanded greens
Course has some challenges to it. The fairways and greens will be good in a few weeks if they continue maintenance. Today all greens were aerated and sanded and we played three temporary greens, thus course conditions were less than good..
Burnt Greens
Had to play back nine twice and the greens were burnt out!
Treasure Hills
Course need lot of improvements, from fairways to greens. Overall it's a nice course to golf.
Spike
Pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. We will come back
Course
Played most of the courses in the rgv and Treasure Hills is our favorite. All courses down here have issues, but Treasure Hills has the best greens
Midweek
Not many people playing on a Tuesday. Greens were very good except the first. Fairways were a spotty
Course
I have played all of rhe courses in the rgv, and all have their problems, but treasure hills greens are consistently the best.
Poor facility.
The only thing good is it’s only $18 to play it. As saying goes you get what you pay for. The golf carts are old and filthy. They don’t wash the carts or practice disinfecting anything. They are grimy. We have elected not to play the course again.
Great design. Poorly kept
Kinda sad to return here after 6-7 years absence and see that it has really gone downhill. Back nine wasn’t quite as bad but they just aren’t anywhere close to keeping up with needs.
Cart paths are completely torn up, broken and borderline dangerous. Carts themselves are several years past overdue for trade/upgrade.
Personnel were very courteous
