About
WestRidge Golf Course is a unique Jeff Brauer design that features a user-friendly layout. The design tips out at a standard-looking 7,041 yards, however its combination of six par 3s (none over water), six par 4s, and six par 5s is far from normal. Brauer incorporated deep bunkers, natural areas, and lakes to accompany the huge, undulating greens that await hacks who become lazy after getting home in regulation. Other than the unique hole combination, WestRidge Golf Course's drive-able par 4s (nos. 1 and 13) are notable during the summer months because they play downwind and are good birdie opportunities.

Too expensive and no value for moneya
The course has various areas where the fairways, tee boxes and greens are bad and have not been fixed. The bunkers have not been fixed and are unplayable with stones and areas with no sand.
Great Course
The greens were kinda rough but it was a good time. Always friendly staff.
Expensive rainout
I arrived early to practice and spent about an hour on the range. The pro shop said things were wide open and I could go early. I went back to the range that is on the way to #1. After an additional 20 min on the range I drove to number 1 about a 5 min cart ride. After 2 practice swings the skies opened up. West ridge is five minutes from the TPC at Craig Ranch which had a monstrous rainstorm and delay today. Before starting I see standing water in the fairways and decide to wait a while before making a decision. In a bit the skies opened up and dumbed. Golf course says to talk to Golfnow and Golfnow says to talk to the course. After a 10 min hold the circle job continues with no resolution. My advice at this point is to not use Golfnow nor this golf course since I had an $80 rainout.

The reason we tell you to call Golf Now is to try and get your booking fee returned because the course is unplayable. If you paid a greens fee, you are entitled to a raincheck. If you would like to discuss this further please call the golf shop at (972)346-2212
Fix the greens and this is a great course
I've always enjoyed playing Westridge, it has a fun and unusual layout. The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape; the greens not so much. And, thanks so much for removing that obnoxious tree on 18.
TOO EXPENSIVE FOR A SENIOR, THEY USED TO HAVE EMAIL SPECIALS WITH SENIOR LOYALTY DISCOUNTS, BUT THEY CHANGED MANAGEMENT AND NOW THEY DONT OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS
Westridge does have a Senior Rate. It is $59 per player which is $15 off the regular rate. when checking in, make sure to tell us that you are a senior loyalty member. Thanks for playing at Westridge!
Greens
Greens are in rough shape. Cost is to high for the value
SLOW PLAY OK
We started in the morning. We had to wait behind one and sometimes two groups at every tee box.
We could see other groups waiting behind us.
At the turn I asked in the pro-shop if there was a marshall on duty and they said there wasn't but they knew that a couple of groups were making it very slow for everyone else.
Unfortunately the back nine was even slower than the front had been.
It's very disappointing that they didn't help speed things up when they knew about it...
Solid as usual but sure wish there was a senior rate for ua ild guys at age 61 like at other courses!
Good course, hard fairways but to be expected. Pace of play was great. Just a little high in price for time of year and being a senior.
Greens looked like someone was practicing changing out the pin position on every one. Overall not bad, but can tell drainage around the greens is an issue. Greens looked very streaky. The pace of play was slow with a 5 some in front of us early on a Saturday morning.
Great Time
Played pretty quick compared to the usual pace. The greens were in good condition especially considering the weather just one week prior. My only complaint was that the 2-3 traps I found my ball in had a larger number of pebble size rocks. It was enough that I couldn’t move my ball in the bunker to avoid the rocks and ended up dropping out to not ruin wedges. I do not hold this against the course as I mentioned the weather the week before was terrible. I will definitely be back and look forward to my next round at Westridge.
Range was closed
Showed up early for my tee time to use the range. Range was closed, pro shop was being remodeled so had to use a portopotty... should have been listed.

We have had measurable rain 90% of the last 2 weeks. The sod farms we are using can not cut sod until it tries out. We have 40 pallets of sod ordered and look forward to getting the course in the shape that everyone expects and deserves.
