Spring Valley Golf and Disc Golf Club

This is not an executive 9 hole course. This is a disc golf course with some poorly taken care of golf holes. The greens are sand, with little to no grass. The fairways didn’t have grass in many spots, so you were hitting approaches out of sand and/or gravel. This was my first time playing bc I am new to the area. Will NEVER waste money there again. Do not go there unless you’re teaching your 5 yr old how to golf for the first time.

short course most par 4 holes are between 220 to 260 yards, You can knock off the 9 holes in about 2 hours. Friendly staff. Overall great value.

Waited over an hour past scheduled tee time due to the lack of carts and never received an apology for the delay. Friendliness can go a long way.

Absolutely terrible golf course. Paid $13, and it was too much. Don’t get me wrong, my expectations were not high considering how cheap it was, but it did not even live up to what I expected. I don’t expect to have to putt through sand patches on the greens. It is cart path only, because we were told “our grass is not meant for that”. Translation: our fairways have a sand base and it is basically like playing from a bunker. Most tee boxes were torn up and impossible to put a tee in the ground. It is clear they have completely let the golf course to focus on disc golf.

On top of that when checking in, the guy in the pro shop told me to write 51 and 0 on the golf cart waiver. When I got to the carts, I saw 51 but there was no 0. I assumed that it was just a filler for a second cart so we took 59. Then when we were on the first tee, he comes yelling at us asking what carts we took and he told us we were supposed to take the one that was blank, honest mistake. He then complains about us to the man warming up on the practice green, loud enough where we can hear him from 30 yards away. He then goes to the pro shop and comes back and tells the man warming up which cart he now should take “since the group in front of us didn’t listen”. Still saying loud enough we could hear from 30 yards away, while we were trying to take out tee shots by the way. Oh and by the way, the guy warming up took his cart before us and it was the one that was supposed to be assigned to us.

Very slow peace, greens in poor condition with a lot of sand on it, rude people playing (one guy hit 2 ball after where we were playing even us with a kid of 8 yo). We played in 2 people not from the same household and we need to pay extra for the second car ($13).

A course to not come back.

I took my 11 year old for his ever 9 hole round. He had a blast. He is already asking when he can go back.

Staff is very friendly and kind. The course is rough. Greens and fairways were ROUGH. Unfortunately I will not be back.

If your looking for something quick and don’t want to be rushed, this is a great place to get a game in.

Greens were horrible. Almost all the time was it very hard to put the tee. Rules are that you can't put carts on the golf course (which I agree), but it's already in poor conditions in the first place. I do recognize the price is on the low side and the staff is very friendly.

Great place to practice instead of hitting a bucket of balls.

Need to hit a few balls before going to a fancy course? Only have 2 hours and want to get out for a quick 9? Have a kid who has trouble getting rushed around a primo course? Need some time outdoors? This is perfect. Honestly, the course condition isn’t great, and greens need a lot of work. I see them working on it so hopefully will get fixed - and the price is right!

The course conditions are poor. The tee boxes are similar to hitting in the rough on other courses. The greens are unplayable. It cost $12 so you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a cheap option to get out of the house in north Houston this is a place for you.

Disc golf is definitely their priority.

The course is fun to play, but you might have to wait to tee off as disc golf also runs some holes through the golf course and the fairways are well maintained but some of the greens but use some work

This is a low end course most of the greens are unplayable and the fairways are below average

But if you want a short course for low cost it fits the bill

Coarse was good, the greens was a little sandy but was still playable. When ask about the condition of the course was informed soon the golf course wouldn't be there and would just be the disk course For the owner has sold part of back half a company that's making a walkway to connect to the Woodlands, and it will only be a Disk Golf only course..

Good Place to play and practice. Pay for 18 holes with cart. $27
