Outstanding Executive Course - a real gem for learning to play
West Brazos is a great little course that is truly a community golf course. Unpretentious and down right neighborly. For the experienced golfer it’s about an 1.5 to 2 hour pace, but from time to time golfer are a bit slower as they learn the game. My experience has been most everybody is quite understanding and encouraging so just let them play through and everyone is happy.
18 Holes @ West Brazos
Fun course to work on your short game with (2) par 4's. Hole 4's green is in real rough shape but other than that the course is in good shape. Greens are slower than most courses around.

Great staff and a perfect course to work on your short game. 2 of the 9 holes are par 4, the rest are par 3.
Some of the greens had some damage that appeared to be
From wild hogs. (Not uncommon in courses in the area)
Don’t think I would pay full price to golf here but for $17 (golf now hot deal) it was a fair price.
I’m sure I’ll go back.
Improvement
Was my first round since the course changed ownership. I really like what they have done with the place. I will be back.
Very fun 9 hole course
The only knock I have on the golf course is no sand bottles on the carts to fix your divots. I know the course has a new owner and things are improving rapidly. I’ll be going back regularly.
West Brazos
This was my first time with the new owners. The course has not looked this good in years. The hard work they are putting in makes this a nice course to take my grandson to. Look forward to more visits in the future.
