Austin Bayou Golf Course & RV Park

Showed up and was put behind a 5 some. They had numerous groups of 5.

We had a foursome on course today. On the back nine our group was put in “ time out’ by the Marshal. Apparently we were holding up two groups behind is. One group of 7 who some of which were course Marshals. And a group of 5 that were playing “skins”.

We were told we were playing too slow as it took us 3 minutes and 41 seconds to play a Par 3. We timed the groups that were allowed to play through and they were both 10 seconds faster. Turns out if you are friends with the Marshal you can cry out stuff and get your way. I have never had an issue on ANY other golf course.

I will not ever be back. Great way to mess up a good round of golf. Two of us were shooting our best round of the year… well that got put on hold. Nothing like sitting around for 20 minutes in the middle of a round.

I will stick to real golf courses from now on.

The service attitude is very good, the grass in the venue is also very good, it is worth recommending

The pace of place at the course on the weekends it terrible, I typically try to avoid it. Marshall drove around but did nothing to try and help the situation.

2nd time at this course. As long as the price stays affordable I will continue to play this course. Great course to get better at.
