No ice or water available for an afternoon round.had to wait until after 9 holes to get ice.

A little out of the but we'll worth the drive. Challenging greens remind me of ram rock in Horseshoe bay. First time playing this course but won't be my last.

I always enjoy playing Vaalor Creek and the course is in excellent condition despite the lack of water. Wonderful facilities.

Played Vaaler for the first time with my son and it was a great experience. The course is in great shape and a real value for the money. It seems to be in the middle of no where but very much worth the drive.

Great golf course with a great staff. Golf course in great condition and great pace of play. I would highly recommend Vaaler Creek Golf Course to friends. The food was also good at the grill!

Very fun course, some challenging holes when playing from the back tees. Good condition overall.

The weather was hot with an afternoon tee time. The pace of play was quick. The fairways were great. The greens were receptive to approach shots and rolled true. The beverage pavilion area is great for post round drink.

The golf experience was fantastic! The course has a nice mix of easy and challenging holes, and the setting amongst the trees and rolling hills is quiet and serene. The course was in great shape and a real pleasure to play! Fun stuff.

The only thing keeping me from giving the course 5 stars is the condition of the greens. They were aerated and sanded the morning just before I played. Made putting a challenge and cost me several strokes. Otherwise the course was in excellent condition. Will play again when I'm back in the area.

Great course and value for your money if you get a teetime on golfnow.

First thing that I saw was the putting green. Perfect condition. The greens on the course were in the same condition. You will not be disappointed. Me and my playing partner did not stop talking about the great condition of the course. We even spoke about a return visit. If you are on the fence of making the trip don't hesitate, you will enjoy the trip. Not sure if this can be a complaint but there were a couple spots by some of the greens that were over watered and were mushy. I know middle of summer and have an issue such as this.

Won't play a better course in the area. Worth the drive from Austin. If you haven't played it, you're missing out.

The course is in great shape. We were told they have their own well so no water restrictions. It is challenging but not too difficult to have a good time. The GPS system on the carts is by far the best I have ever seen.

For the drought conditions we are in, the course is in great shape. The greens were a little tough to read but we started to figure them out on the back nine. Hitting fairways is paramount to scoring on this track. The support facilities were woefully lacking and they could use more drinking water on the course.

Loved the course, unfortunately it was very hot and dry when I played. All of the water on the course, ponds and lakes, were bone dry, which was great for finding balls, not so great for the overall experience. Otherwise, loved the course, worth every penny. My only suggestion is that they place a water cooler at hole 13, waiting until hole 16 for a sip of water in Texas is not a good idea. I will definitely be back in the Fall.

From the time I walked into the club house, the reception and friendliness was amazing. This course is a hidden gem.

Yesterday with very few players on the course the pace of play was horrible. My suggestion is invest in a Ranger. Two slow foursomes held everybody up. I skipped four holes and played the front nine all over again. There's no excuse for a good golf course to be so poorly managed. The greens are always in great shape. The layout is interesting.

I was referred the course by one of my local friends. AMAZING! Definitely a hidden gem. A few unforgettable holes. Also, I felt like I was the only one on the course. No waiting, no rushing, just golf!

Nice views on a challenging layout. Great carts with modern GPS devices.
Windy days make some holes very long from the back tees

One of the best Hill Country courses I've played. Played here about a year ago during the drought. Was good then and even better now. Love the greens which are large but can be deceivingly challenging due to their different levels and undulations. This course is very well maintained as evident from the minute you step on the course. With the golf now deals it is very reasonable as far as price for what you get. I highly recommend this course for any kind of golfer except for the ones that complain about something. It will be hard for them to find something on this well laid out course. Try this one you will like it if you are a true golfer.
