The Club at Rebecca Creek

About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Drought taking its toll
I have golfed here numerous of times. I get that the brutal summer isn’t helping with no rain. The fairways and tee boxes are horrible. The greens are ok ish. I have never seen a cart girl on this course. The entire course needs a lot of help, including the cart path.
Rebecca Creek
The clubhouse did not have any food available. Beverage cart was only starting her shift Y11:40am - s we were leaving the 18th green. Both services could have been better.
Floating and Golf
The greens were in good shape but the fairways were in bad shape. Looked like they were saving on their water bill.
Extremely poor condition. Can’t entirely blame the grounds team because of the harsh summer we’re having so far, hardly any rain… but, the harsh conditions really have exposed this golf course. Extremely poor tee boxes, fairways are awful, and greens are average. I’m sure it’s much nicer during a plush time of year. But in June 2022, 2-stars for the condition of the course.
Great Day
For early June the course was in really good shape. Very enjoyable round. Went single and paired up with a nice threesome.
Fun…..but
Since the greens are decent it’s a good value. The fairways are better than in the past but still need a lot of attention. River Crossing members and employees play free on Monday which has made the course overused and crowded!
Great Round
This course is a GREAT little secret ..just North of San Antonio! The staff is terrific! This was my first time playing this course and I was treated as if I played there everyday! Wonderful outing and plan to play again!
Fairways are solid rock!
The course itself has a horrible layout. Link style right on top of each other. Had 2 balls picked up by other golfers after drives that made it into the neighboring fairways. Watched one guy do it as I was driving up to the ball. I pulled up and he had a crying toddler in his cart. It was 100degrees outside but that's a different issue. The driving range has no net so a few of the fairways were COVERED in range balls. COVERED. The fairways were hard and dry with little grass, no need to fill a divot because id be surprised if you could with a pick axe. The tee boxes were uneven and mostly made up of sand. I'm not an experienced golfer by any means but have been to many courses in the greater San Antonio area and this was by far the worst designed and kept course I've been to.
Great place to play
Fairways are pretty rough , but greens were in great shape . Holes 1,10,11 are awkward , but it’s a great value and fun to play .
