Course was nice. Short, and that creates a backup at points but overall not to bad.
Some greens needed TLC.
For the price I’d prefer a full length course but it was nice enough in a pinch.
Friendly fairways for most level golfers.

Decent day
Fla courses have gotten ridiculously expensive over the past 4-5 years. This is one of the least expensive ones, and that's a relative term. Afternoon tee times are $89. I was able to find a "hot deal" for $72 and then laid a Honey coupon over that so I paid $58.
As to the course, it is in better condition than the last 3 years I have played there. Tee boxes were above avg. Greens were a bit spotty as were the fairways. They have added sand but that's not saying much compared to previous years. I had two sand shots yesterday where it felt there was a decent amount of sand under my ball but when I hit it I hit wet sand 1/2 below the ball. Pretty tough to gauge how to hit the shot given that.
I will return and can recommend it primarily because of it's "relatively" low price. Spanish Wells in nearby Bonita has basically doubled it price from $69 5 years or so ago to $145. If they can get it, good for them. It just won't come from me. I can play 5 rounds back home on a much nicer course for what SW wants for p.m. greens fees.

Tight & Slow
Nice People. Nice flight with 2 residents. Relatively slow round. OKish Value for money (paid 60 via GN). Greens were good and true. Course Lay-out very tight and short.

Simple layout, short holes, slow play
Played 9 holes in the afternoon. Course was in decent shape, but a very basic layout that mostly took the hazards out of play. Sand was like concrete on a few holes. The biggest challenge was the extremely slow pace if play. We waited on every hole and every shot. Will not return.

Pace can be an issue here at times on the front 9 due to the par 3 second hole after the par 4 start, as groups have to wait for the green to clear. A storm came up while we were on the first green. We went back to the cart barn and waited for 45 minutes. we tried going out again with wind gusts to 50miles /hr.Needless to say we quit.The club could not give us a rain heck because we booked through golfnow.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
