Just Ok

The course itself was fine, some construction. The main issue was the rental clubs. I was traveling and didn’t have my clubs with me, so I rented some so I could play. I’m not sure exactly what I was charged for the rental clubs but I believe the price was around $50. I wouldn’t have paid that much to keep the clubs had they been listed on Facebook marketplace. The newest club in the bag was probably from about 2018 and just absolutely beat into the ground. For other club rentals I have gotten before for around the same price you get something fairly new, so it was a little disappointing in that aspect. I still enjoyed playing the course but if I were to do it again I would want it to be with my own clubs. All of the staff was very friendly.

Good value for the money

Fun little course and pace of play was sub 4 hours for 18. Even behind 3 foursomes. Offered to let me play through but I wasn’t in a rush. If I had taken them up on the offer, I could have played 18 in 3 hours. Three greens were under repair with temporary greens in front. Still worth it for the price.

Definitely need to play

All the reviews I saw said "slow greens". They were right! Loved the layout of this course, with some doglegs and water in play on different holes. Fairways were wide enough for some errant shots but if you went to far, forget about looking for your ball. Would definitely play again.

Only game in town

It’s a tighter course than a lot of other courses that I’ve played in Florida. Several greens (around 4) are under repair so the cup is in the fairway in front of the green. However, most of the other greens need repair also and have dirt pits all over them. Greens fees and a cart shouldn’t be more than $40 for this level of course.

Good for a round if your close by.

Not a bad place to place if your in the port st joe or cap San blas area. Very close drive.

They do have some greens under repair and have moved the holes out into the fairway which was odd but just to get a round in for fun it was fine.

Temp greens and torn up tee boxes

7-9 greens were shut down with temporary greens. Most of the tee boxes were very ragged.

Lots of potential

The layout was great. The greens do need some work, and a little TLC on the fairways, but I would for sure play it again when I'm down. A pretty good value for the price. The staff was also a solid 9 out of 10...

Great Time

You can’t beat this course for the money and with that being said, its condition is on par with other courses in and around Bay County, not bad at all. I’ve played this course several times and the course continues to improve. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I will be back. Had a great time, Thanks.

Save your money vacation-goers

If you are on vacation near the area, save your money and keep the clubs at home. Not one aspect of this place is worth the money spent. Could only get through 6 in 1 1/2 hours due to people walking the course and being stingy. Sand everywhere from tee box to the greens and everywhere in-between. Pro-shop employee Jordan cancelled my tee time a day before, while guaranteeing I could have a free round on them during the week. Walked in and didn’t have anything registered and was made to pay my way, even though I had my initial tee-time cancelled with receipts. Someone with some capital and know-how should move in close and take their business; as they only cater to members.

Awful greens and sandy fairways

Although the price was reasonable the course is in bad shape. Most fairways were a mixture of mud, grass, and sand which lead to poor lies even in the fairways. Price although reasonable still should have been lower.

Only course within 60+ min drive

The fairways are hard pan and/or mud in many places. Greens are in very poor condition. Very expensive considering the shape it is in. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
