Majestic Springs Golf Course

It was a cold and rainy day and the first tee was backed up. But once we were under way, we hardly waited again.

The course was a little rough. Some greens have not yet recovered from aeration, and there were some damaged areas on fairways, but the course is obviously well maintained.

I’ve played it 3 times now and loves each round. Course lay out is a favorite. Greens and fairways great shape...Reason for 4 stars is tee boxes need some work, a couple where being aerated so they are work in progress.

pace was good golfers in front and behind us 4.5 hrs

played in outing, well run by Dave, food was awsome!!! Little rain but course was in great shape considering they still let you take your own cart, thats alot of traffic but its in great shape. Greens were fast. Ill be back!

The layout of this course is great for all levels of players. The beautiful countryside is so peaceful and serene that it relaxes you and let's you leave your worldly cares behind. This is definitely one of my favorite courses in the Midwest. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Very neat course. Hole 15 is worth the price of entry. The greens were in great shape for being this late in the season. Can’t recommend enough.

I have played this course before when it was in way better condition. Fairways were full of clover, weeds, and splotchy (fungi). Greens better but some had issues. Tees were beat up badly. Our league is set to play there on Sunday and I know the guy who set it up will be very disappointed, especially since they are charging $42 per player. Hope they put money to good use. They still have the best cheeseburgers and the young lady selling them was very pleasant. She should be a valued employee.

Great layout. Fun course to play. Every hole is unique. Most fairwsys were burnt, greens a bit rough in areas, tee boxes hard but good value for the price. Plenty of carts. Nice patio bar area. Would play again, enjoyed the layout. You can score here if you play smart.

Beautiful place to play but need to start on hole one more and need better upkeep on the course itself.

Great value country course. Good layout. Medium difficulty. Medium to good pace. Some drought conditions, but overall good

If you catch this course during advantageous conditions it’s a gem. Unfortunately the superintendant has apparently forgotten how to turn on the sprinklers so the fairways and rough are like concrete during dry-times (July and August). I expect the conditions to only improve

as fall approaches and would encourage anyone to give it a go (especially the day after it rains).

We played 18 holes in 5 1/2 hours. We had 2 groups ahead of us that were extremely slow. We were not able to play thru. Some of the fairways were in bad shape. The greens were soft and would hold your shot. I will play here again.

After waiting and waiting in every tee box I decided to clock how long it took between my putt on one hole to my drive on the next. 25 minutes. Quit 12 holes in. Will not return.
