Stellar course!
First time played here and what a surprise! Course is well maintained, bunkers are great, loved the scenery. There is nothing quite like it around. A little slow. It hey, it was the weekend. And I've heard such great things about this place.
great shape enjoyed good weather
course has improved a lot just in last couple months like new bunker sand and sod around them love this course best around was busy but it was 80 degrees and everyone wanted to play ! be back soon
6 hours
Teed off 30 min after tee time on Saturday - 6 groups ahead on the tee box. After hole 1, the same 6 four somes were waiting on hole 2 tee box. When it spread out we were at next tee before group in front of us teed off - every hole. Avoid this place. The grill is good but it no way is it worth the long drive from inside the 275 loop. Also the golfnow price is more than at the course!
There Getting Better
Last time I played this course it was a nightmare.
Much better this time but we still had a group cut in front of us at the turn.
This course is always in good shape but I don't the the sand traps have been teended to all year .
If they just took care of the traps it would be the best course condition and layout in the greater area.
Great course
This was my first time playing this course and I absolutely loved it. Great value, and the course is in amazing condition. It's a beautiful course layout too tucked amid the rolling hills. I will definitely be back
Nice track for the buck.
Always enjoy this course. Challenging and a good value for the money. Worth the drive.
slow, slow, slow
We stopped after 9 holes. We didn't have the time to play the next 9 holes. We had already put in 3+ hours.
One of the better ones
One of the best one's... great layout, greens and fairways. Great mix of woods and wetlands. The last par 5 , great hole except for that tree guarding the green.
Great amenities.
One of my favorite places to play. Large fairways, for novices to keep balls in play. Staff is friendly. Top notch treatment when play.
Overbooked tee times
This course is awesome. I've been golfing here for 15+ years. Unfortunately, they do not know how to book tee times anymore. 3.5 hours to play nine. I can drive an hour to play 18 and be home earlier than I can to play at a course 10 minutes from my house.
Beautiful course, will not return.
This is a beautiful, links-style course. Fun, yet challenging. However, I will not return. They must have booked a tee time for every 4 minutes. At every tee box there were at least 3 groups waiting to tee off. There is nothing I hate more than slow golf, and this round took almost 6 hours. Nkce enough course, but I will not support that greedy BS of overbooking.
Good, could be better
Course is in excellent condition. Completed the front in just over an hour as I was the first one out. The problem began on the second nine. I understand that courses will send people off the back, in order to service those only playing nine holes early in the day. Today I witnessed two of the groups coming from the 18th hole before moving on to the tenth tee. There were at least three groups in front of them. Disappointing back nine, after such an enjoyable front side.
Great course in country
Course in good shape for amount of play it receives, pace of play could be better but overall a great course for the value you pay
Diamond in the Woods
First time playing this course. Absolutely loved it! Tight fairways, beautiful layout, no houses, no noise other than mother nature. Our group teed off early in the morning (7:22), would recommend based off seeing groups waiting starting around 9 or so. My group will be back to play many times!!
Great Layout in a Fairly Remote Area
20 and some change for 18 and a cart is a great deal but was a steal for this course. It winds in and out of the forest with hills and creeks to boot. Was first one out in the morning and was able to enjoy the layout. Got back to the clubhouse and it was packed, I can see why. Hidden gem in the woods of southern Ohio. Worth the 45 minute drive and would definitely play again.
