The Golf Club At Oxford Greens

Greens were quick,, sand traps much improved, fairways in very good condition. The was allot of dandelions in the rough and the tee boxes need help.

Always a good course. And a special thank you for not raising the rates like every other course did during COVID. One of the best values in Connecticut.

Course was in good shape after two days of rain. Will definitely play it again

For this early in the season, the greens seemed much faster than some of the other courses currently open. Play was a little slow and there doesn't seem to be any ranger on the course making sure people move along. They were busy today and ran out of carts by early afternoon. Had to wait until someone finished 18 and returned their cart. There wasn't anyone around to clean the cart so we took it as it was, unfortunately pigs had used it before us.

I used to love OG and have cut them so much slack, but I can’t do it anymore. Used to be a GREAT place to play and practice. Under the new management (the alliance group) the course is barely functional. It’s nothing but a money grab. One of the nicest practice ranges in the state is now barely operational, yet the price per bucket has increased. The range runs out of balls WAY too often and the idiot at the counter just shakes his head. The grass tee hasn’t been open since 2019.

If you’re playing, good luck getting a scorecard or pencil and be prepared to fix pitch marks left by other “players.” Also, you may not even have a cart for your scheduled tee time. I

Going off 1 is a crap shoot as they cut the starter and then once you get to hole 2 it’s a free for all with no ranger. Expect cart path only on sunny days with the course dry. If you know any homeless people who collects cans, send them to oxford greens, as they will surely encounter a multitude of empty cans littered all over the course.

In the old days, I would recommend oxford greens to anyone. Today, under the greedy management of the alliance group, I would recommend oxford greens only to people I don’t like. This place is a JOKE

They have raised there price to $85.00 on Saturdays. If the course was in good condition I would not have no problem. But all the greens are still being filled in from being air raided. On every par three they had you teeing off mats because the tees weren’t ready. I like this course but I think it’s crazy to raise your price to $85.00 a round in the beginning of April when the course isn’t even in good condition. Save your money and go somewhere else for now.

I've been playing Oxford since it opened and have seen management change several times. Unfortunately current management seems to not care about 5+ hour rounds. Tee times were booked way too close together. There is no starter to prevent 20+ handicaps from playing back tees. I saw several people dribble their drives of back tees and I'm sure that was some of the bottleneck. There's also no rangers on the course to keep pace. On the 15th hole there was a group on the green, on the fairway, on the tee box. and us waiting. We tried to call the pro shop, but no help there. Absolutely unacceptable! Oxford used to be a great course, but it now seems we will look elsewhere.

Conditions were fine fore March golf in New England.

Very nice course. First week being open and the course was in very good shape.

Greens rolling great for this late in the season. Overall course in good shape, bunkers still inconsistent. Carts well below standard. Missing wind visors and covers for clubs

Course in good shape with challenging right to left slopes on many holes making you bring your a game but fun to play. Highly recommend.

Over price, not worth the money....should have a fall price schedule.....
