The Golf Club At Oxford Greens

Nice and challenging course but always slow pace of play. Tee boxes not in very good shape and lots of ball marks on the greens for so early in the season

This course was a great value with a rambling layout. Conditions were the best I’ve played all year with consistent fairways and greens. I’d play again any time and definitely recommend to all players

Pace of play was sort of slow. Largely due to it being cart path only. Price was pretty good for a Friday morning tee time.

We found it absolutely ridiculous that they were charging $95, which I believe is their summer season rate, with aerated greens. I understand that it has to be done. At least they should offer a discounted rate or at least let the public know that the greens were recently aerated. Everything else was fine. We waited on almost every shot on the front but only saw the group in back of us once through out the whole round.

The greens were aerated and sanded. Large clomps of sand made putting ridiculous.

Pace of play was brutal with no supervision on the course.

Bar was not serving food but you could get a drink.

Won’t be playing it again anytime soon.

Greens had been punched and top dressed and a third had moderate tree debris: seeds and twigs. Tee markers had not been moved in days and garbage cans were overflowing. Bunkers have not been tended and while some have new soft sand, others are like concrete and rutted from precipitation and runoff. The pro and starter were very friendly.

It was great to be able to play on a somewhat warmer day in January. The course conditions were to be expected after a snowfall the week before along with a few days of frigid temperatures. The only negatives I could think of is the rate of play and the gas powered carts were God-awful carts that had no power and couldn’t get out of their own way. It looked like there were electric carts there as well that looked to run fine.All in all, it was great to get out a couple of times and play with my sons.
