Lefties beware!
-Great track and considering we are in a drought, the course was in good shape!
-Greens were very consistent.
-Just eliminate the left side and you be ok! It’s probably the most challenging public track in CT for lefties.

Grip about water
They use pay for water with circulating cart. However, need to drink on hot day doesn't fit that model. Put water coolers out. Covid is airborne ,no excuse. Failing that, note that you only provide cart water...

Great Day Great Round
It is always a pleasure to play Oxford Greens.
It is a great track to challenge yourself. You break 100 here you have earned it. I can shoot may handicap (88) but it doesn't come easy. Smart play gets the low score.
My hats off to the greens keeper. We could use some very much needed rain in places on the fairway. Even then it's still a top 10 course to me. Course let me have 85 on Sunday. I'll be back

Terrible greens
Their website says top ranked greens in CT. They were quite possibly the worst greens I've ever seen. So many burn marks, holes, divots, missing chunks of grass on the greens. Awful. Course was challenging and fun, just really bad greens.

Need Access to Water on Golf Course
Course is in great shape. Fairways are lush, greens roll better than ever. My only issue is that on a 95 degree day there needs to be access to on site water coolers. Beverage cart service on a Friday was also non existent. Not having water for 2 hours hurts the golf experience.

Stay on the fairways
If you miss the fairways you will lose your ball. It would be nice to trim back some of the brush along the edges of some of the fairways which would speed play in my opinion.
