Course is in good shape but there are better values for the money. Paid almost $100 and the carts don't even have GPS.

Nice layout
Course is in good shape and greens were surprisingly fast. Pace of play can be a challenge. Hard course for bad golfer but is a very nice layout.

Tuff Greens
Course is in great shape. Traps need work new sand. White sand would be nice if your charging top dollar. Fairways and tee boxes great. If your a beginner this track isn't for you. Tuff greens and pin placements.

Unfortunately, the management of the course allow multiple large outing to play on a Saturday morning which slower the pace of play to a crawl. We were told it was slow by the starter by the first 9 took 3:10 to play.
The pro shop offered us a rain check for 9 holes. It looked like a ton of people took it because we played the back in 2:20 hours.
If you have effective management in the pro shop and an effective ranger, we should never experienced a 5:30 round.

Paid 95 for a five hour round. How can a course that labels itself one of the best and most challenging in CT not have a ranger keeping pace of play. Three groups on every hole throughout the round is unacceptable.

Lefties beware!
-Great track and considering we are in a drought, the course was in good shape!
-Greens were very consistent.
-Just eliminate the left side and you be ok! It’s probably the most challenging public track in CT for lefties.

Grip about water
They use pay for water with circulating cart. However, need to drink on hot day doesn't fit that model. Put water coolers out. Covid is airborne ,no excuse. Failing that, note that you only provide cart water...

Great Day Great Round
It is always a pleasure to play Oxford Greens.
It is a great track to challenge yourself. You break 100 here you have earned it. I can shoot may handicap (88) but it doesn't come easy. Smart play gets the low score.
My hats off to the greens keeper. We could use some very much needed rain in places on the fairway. Even then it's still a top 10 course to me. Course let me have 85 on Sunday. I'll be back
