Falcon Lakes Golf Course

This was the second time I've played this course. It is a very playable golf course and I play this course when I visit my son in KC. For a relatively flat course, all the holes are different. I also like it because they are very friendly and it is less crowded.

The greens at Falcon Lakes are IMPRESSIVE. Firm, smooth and fast. Better than any public golf course I've played in years. Most country clubs could not compete with these. These greens were still firm after an all day rain the day before.

On the tees and fairways, looks like they have suffered from all the rain the area has received this Spring. Looks like the grass is brown where standing water was once present. Don't let this deter you from playing here.

Overall, this is a good track, fun and playable and some of the best greens you will ever play on (and it is a public golf course)!

When I book my tee time online I didn’t know what to really except but I was very happy with the course. I would definitely recommend this course

Golf course is always in great shape. Always a great value for your money.

Well-maintained, straight-forward course with a surprisingly wide-spread layout (almost no chance that an errant shot would end up in another fairway or in someone’s yard). Not a lot of trees, picturesque hazards or scenic vistas, but lots of surface undulations and rough that made you want to keep your ball in the fairways. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was good, the cart was trouble-free and the cart paths were paved. It had rained quite heavily the night before but it really didn’t affect our play.(beyond having to keep the cart on the path). I hope to play here again when I’m in the area.

Great course and fun, not too challenging for my buddy that just started playing but yet kept you on your toes very fun course and will play again when in the area.

It was a long winter and early in the season but the course was in good shape. Greens roiled true.

Picture perfect outing. The course was in excellent shape this early in the year. The greens were very thin andvery fast. The pace of play for three players was excellent. I hopel Falcon Lakes remains associated with Golf Now.

Our foursome played Falcon Lakes twice in three days. The course was in good shape and the pace of play was also good. The staff at Falcon Lakes is the reason we came back two days later.

Trent in the Bar/Restaurant makes the BEST Bloody Mary's and is extremely friendly and professional. The pro shop staff was very accommodating, and took exceptional care of us. The course marshals stopped by a few times as we played just to make sure everything was going well. The mowers were kind enough to completely shut down while we made approach shots and during putting.

We will be playing Falcon Lakes many times in 2019!

Course is in good shape for March. Greens were running medium to fast surprisingly.

Great hot dogs and Polish sausages.

Overall, fun day.

On the morning of my tee time there was a frost delay. The course worked very well to get everyone off as soon as they could even moving myself and my playing partner up to an earlier tee time that had cancelled. The bar staff was very friendly offering a sample of their newest beer on tap we even picked up a nice looking Under Armour shirt with the course logo on it. The course was in as good as shape you could ask for considering the time of year. I always enjoy this course and its open layout. Pace of play again was really smooth even considering the delay in the AM. This course is a must play and a great value in the KC metro.

The golf coarse was in good condition for March. It is an enjoyable coarse that is very fair and fun to play. It has a good mix of easier and tougher holes.

Good value for a nice private course. Great course layout in the country. Worth the money.

First of all, the greens were likely the best public course greens I've ever played. Clean, fast, well rolled -- super enjoyable after playing two private courses earlier this week that weren't nearly as nice.

The course is well laid out - sprawling - which I guess is apropos of Kansas - and very unlike home courses.

Good variety, beautiful countryside and they provide a hole-by-hole course book with guidance.

All in all -- very highly recommended.

Our 4some was in KC for a buddies golf trip and I chose this course entirely based on the reviews on this site. Glad I did. The course is in what seems like an isolated area, but has plenty of houses around it. I liked the set up. Clubhouse was great, although the food choices were limited. Plenty of beer choices though. Course was in great shape. Every once in a while a few bumps on the green from recent aeration but nothing major. Starter was very friendly and the course was crowded, trying to get everyone going after a golf scramble. We started about 15 minutes late but still played in 4 1/2 hours. I really thought it would be over a 5 hour round, but the player assistant seemed to keep things moving. Great course and a great day. We stayed downtown KC and it was about a 20 minute drive. And worth it!

Course in great shape even with the greens sanded. Loved it. I will be back.

Good layout of course. Some fairways are tight but generally forgiving . StAff were friendly and helpful. Good deal for the money

Loved the course. I am 76 and played from the whites. Plenty of fairway area to hit. But if you wander, the rough off the fairway and around the greens is plenty tough. The only feature I didn’t like was the condition of the greens in terms of unrepaired ball marks and shoe/club scuffs. Otherwise I highly recommend Falcon Lakes and will play it again soon.

I was a single paired with a threesome, great day of golf. The practice facilities were very well maintained and the tee times were kept by a starter with an intercom. Course was in great shape, two slow groups in front of us but overall great day.
