i love the course lay out. The sand traps are p[ay=able. Its not too long or full of trouble. Pace of play is always good. the club house is great. Links style course with houses on the sides.

Tournament
Front nine was fine, then they had a tournament on the back nine. Play slowed to a snails pace. Asked us to play a sixsome on the last four holes. Round took 5 hours. Disappointed on what is normally a good course.

Overall Good Experience!
Course was in good condition tee box, fairways, and greens. Pace was good and staff was great. Had a good time playing this course.

Great
This course is nice layout and in excellent condition. The green speed is not fast but is very consistent and greens are in great shape. Some tall grass that needs mowed, most should be out of play but would help the coarse appearance that is otherwise great!

Very good.
First time on this course through a good rate on GN. About 30min drive for me but well worth to change course and layout.
Well maintained course, a little bit of weeds on the outsides but nothing big. Layout was challenging, blues and blacks are the way to go. Carts are in great shape and the course gives you a book with the holes and different distances, can't beat that !!
I'm not picky about the golf shop so regular amenities are available, food was ok since I usually have a hotdog before the back 9. Overall very good.

Bad course management
Very poor course management. Booked a tee time one week in advance. They did not tell me they would be punching and sanding the greens the day before. Who does that in august. They called the the night before our tee time at 6pm to tell they had sanded the greens, to late to book another coursr. The next day when we got there they told us it was cart path only. Could have told us the night before on the phone when they called. Course layout was good. So we're the greens and tee boxes. There was no need for cart path only, the fairways were dry. All in all it was very bad experience because of poor course managsment. They need to change some t hinges before I will go back or recommend this course.

Although the greens remain quite playable during the aerification process, we add a notice of our aerification dates above the online tee sheet the week prior to aerification. As a courtesy to our golfers who book their tee times over the phone, our staff notifies them of aerification, and we also make every effort with those who booked online to follow up with them with a phone call to make sure they are aware of aerification. We apologize that you felt our phone call did not allow you enough time to book another course. As for the cart path restriction, we received a record-setting 6 inches of rain Monday evening. It's a fine line between protecting our great course conditions and allowing carts off the path, and we appreciate your understanding of our desire to keep Falcon Lakes ranked as one of the best public courses in the metro. The course was in great shape
The course was in excellent shape. The pace of play was slow. Overall I would definitely recommend the course.
Great Course
I love this course, I typically play this course twice a month. The staff are always friendly and the course conditions are great. Iv never had a bad experience at this course. I'v played about a dozen courses in the Kansas City area and this is by far my favorite.
Challenging but not unfair.
This was a well maintained course with excellent accommodations. Only issue with the course was the bunkers were in bad shape from rain but we could see there staff actively doing all they could to get them back into playable condition. Course played ver challenging but did not unreasonably punish you if you missed a fairway. Will absolutely be returning to play this course in the future, I strongly recommend this to anyone.

Love, love, love this course! First time playing after my husband played with a friend the previous week! Fairways are like carpet, tee boxes are perfect and the greens were challenging. Met the owner Marty. Very nice guy. Can't wait till next time!

Great place to play.. when it's not busy.
Great course and layout but they have a tough time keeping up with demand. I'm a 27 year old, still getting a hang of the game and Booked a tee time to play solo. Course was busy and they wanted to pair me with a 70 year old and make us share a cart. Decided to leave instead.

The course was in great shape
This is one of the better courses in the metro area. Other than the neighborhood construction, everything was great.
Very good course for the money
Course was great. Incredibly slow play. Had to wait 10-15 minutes on every hole. Quit before we ended the round because of slow play.
Great course one stupid policy
Love this course, my friends and I play it often. More holes than not play into the wind, greens put well. Can't buy a Bloody Mary before 10 on Sunday, I thought I could blame Kansas for that one but played Dubbs across the highway the next weekend and they were serving. So what's up FAlcon Lakes?
